Opulentia - Do we know when the Final Dividend gets declared. Would be good to understand the Cycle.

With the reinstatement of divi they have opened the door for Pension funds and other investors looking For Income . Plus I am firm believer that MCRO will be Leaner, Better and Sharp focussed for the next Big move after all the write off and Software Consolidation.

Well time will tell the real value. The value is being suppressed. As of now I am happy with the Dividend restatement .

In my view if the offer comes, it would be north of £ 8 Plus ++ . If Sp stays low it will come soon.

Any major prepared to wait for next 2-3 years can Buyout MCRO for very cheap. SP is very undervalued and MCRO is a cash cow generating 1 Billion + of net profit. Not sure the Majors like MSFT , Amazon or Google will come out not just for the suite of products but the vast customer base it holds.

Currently valued at 1.4 Billion with 3 (billion debt in Pounds) , and so much Loss to adjust due to Goodwill Impairments it's a dream for a Major. Even if they buy out for argument sake for 3 Billion - with another 3 Billion in Debt. The overall cost would be very attractive to a Major.

If a Private Equity come forward same applies, but then they will spin up separate businesses like Vertica, Autonomy , Security and others to make money.

Any way we cut it, it's a share than both from Income and Capital growth has a lot of Mileage. I suspect offers will arrive soon.

All - Make your own mind. I have looked around and I am fully boarded. As some of you I am heavily invested, the good thing is company has turned it's wave. Bear in mind |Cash is the King in stressful times.

We made a profit of 1.2 Billion dollars and have Cash in Hand around 800 Million. Next Qtr things will be better. Major write offs have been done so what's the resistance. Once Investors starts smelling the dividend we should be marching towards 5,6 and 7 Pounds mark soon. It may happen soon may be in months to come.

Hold tight, we will be dearly rewarded. I am waiting for my 9 K dividend, that I will reinvest again.

Well said pandamonia - I can easily see this SP reaching 8-10 Pounds in next 6-12 Months.

Look at some of the overvalued SP across the pond, PLTR, Snowflake - we have a better product called Vertica and used quite a lot.

Good choice - I don't think there is any other Stock in NYSE or FTSE that has so much potential both in terms of growth and Income. I know there are Naysayers as well. I am looking for years of growth and Income.

In Glory days this share was priced at 12-30 Pounds. I am not saying we will be there tomorrow but in 1 year, 2 years we will definitely be there. With organisations across the world now embarking on the Digital Journey we have a lot of upside.

I hope that we don’t get taken away on cheap. We are still valued around 1.6 Billion. I think we can easily be Double in 6 months. With Interim and Final dividend reinstated .

No Announcement as such. This is the ex-dividend data. In my view people/investors will come back on back on Analyst recommendations and getting dividend of 11p. There is Microfocus Universe event planned for the 23-25 March. That would be a good one to see what Mkt makes out of it to get more clarity on direction of travel.

I totally agree,2 years back MCRO was giving dividend nearly around 80p per year or 1 Dollar. Hope we see that again soon. I hope the price moves more to stable ground like 7-8 pounds so that in worst case of getting an offer . We get. decent offer with sp being so low.We would be a Cash cow to many predators .

In the Stock Market - Patience is the key. As I have said many time get me one Technology stock that has both Capital growth and Income growth - with dividend reinstated. I am not bothered by daily swings as I have all of these tucked in ISA and Pension pot fully loaded. 1,2 Billion profit in current times is not a Joke that to at level of 40% of the revenue.

Good Profit Margin and Great cash cow. If the price doesn't improve in next 3 months to a level of 6-7 pounds. We might be a Takeover target at 10 Pound plus.

I think anyone who has this tock now with Dividend reinstated should be happier - 5 % dividend income and 200-300% Capital growth, what else we need.

No one has made money buy Buying or Selling shares - we need to hold the value stock.

The next price trigger would be definitely the Analyst recommendations and any positive news coming from MicroFocus camp.

All the current predictions have come around 5.50 pence and higher. Remember Goldman Sachs not long back had the price target of 665 pence. Long way to go.
