After the supply worries of Covid, many countries are thinking they need their own supply chain to stop issues of broken down supply chains and the biggest single threat is Chin ahoarding everythign for itself when the ROW has relied ont he m for the supply of everything. They tried to corner the market and have done very well, but the EU has set up it's own battery chain and the US has just realised it needs to sort it's **** out and put battery metals on the critical materials list for Natinal Security.

China is where it is at for'processed lithium' i.e. chemical for use in battery materials.
Australia is the biggest Spodumene producer
S. America the biggest brine producer though China has a fair amount of brine too.

Brine is mainly made into carbonate for LFP batteries and spod into hydroxide for NMC type batteries.

The EU has no battery grade output of spodumene and it wants it's own internal secure market for the full battery chain. So no matter what is produced elsewhere ANY EU company will get first in the line to supply the EU. As the EU will be mainly Nickel based batteries Spodumene is highly sought. There is a lot of money going around to make htis happen.....

So SAV is in the driving seat for a place at the EU battery table in the near future. New partnership looks like it could provide support for SAV taking more ground in Porugal to expand and tap into Portugal's wealth of spod type rock and create a Lithium dynasty there.

Traders leaving was to be expected just depends on how many and whom will bid chase with them. How far does the ASK drop before the buyers feel they have got in on a pull back and steady the leavers.

Some people rinse and repeat but forget to reassess the shifting situation at this point to the previous visit.....others it is black and white and no emotion. 10-20% hit, they sell no looking back.
Seen some people say they sold HZM to balance their portfolio as it got too big a % in it. So essentially sold the Golden Goose over some % thing they have in mind, or sold their winner to balance out the % differences in the one that didn't. That took precidence over value and future value of the share.

Equity raise will be in GBP for funds needed in USD. So higher GBP is the better.

If Brexit failed we could have been looking at 1.00 to 1.15p maybe....... every little bit helps.

More than a few small caps performing well today so call it general market upside with a touch of MMs actively pushing up looking for shares to sell.

We obviously think HZM is a good investment due to the amounts invested but if you go into a trade with eyes wide open and an expectation of what you want to achieve as per Tricky's suggestion, in for a specific result then it is as risked as it can be. Just don't fall for some of the drivel that the BB might be pumping.

10% seems to be our daily speeding ticket zone and aded to that we have red rag to a bull (trader) with 10p.....so expect it to churn a bit to get out those that need to.

Ah the first of a few traders taking their 8p to 10p trades out..... Different to last time. Nickel higher, Covid on the wane, EVs better and better, Brexit result gone, US president result gone......RSI not overheated this time either.

ESG credentials not going to be good with diesel generators and transporting ore 270km by road in diesel trucks......despite the BB full of people with FUD on Nickel. They think because it is sulphide it is the best thing since sliced bread and you shouldn't buy anything else.
Flashy grades of high Ni impress people but many mines are over just a few metres, deep and expensive to recover. GReat gossip for many sulphide plays, but just gossip.

That is the question...... Few traders will want their slices no doubt but don't see a return to 8s this time around....

When they have a buyer they don't want to be letting the shares go to Retail PIs so they dry up the ASK and go NT. They are basically just denying you shares in favour of collecting them and selling to the big buyer..... You are but pawns in their master plan.

Araguaia alone is a no brainer for a buyer. Banks are awash with cash and WANT to lend.....
