In a normal year January is usually a fairly slow month in China for EV uptake. If the rest of 2021 is a "normal" year then China could be looking at 2.75m+ EVs and PHEVs.

We should see a DFS with a minimum price of $500 at this rate but hopefully we can maintain the long term guidance of $685. Depends on the market end of 3rd quarter, prices now $450-$460, with 3rd Qtr spot prices over $500

Spodumene was slow to react compared to the chemical prices for Carbonate, but as stockpiles have depleted supply has tightened back to production only supply.

1. They are NO WHERE NEAR being in that position
2. They think being beside a battery factory means something..... it has to be refined somewhere else, then made into anode material before it gets back to that factory......

Read the RNS' it cannot complete until EIA is signed off allowing SAV to choose a specific mine build based on several options. So anticipated before the end of the year.

No, debt component is 'lead' by 5 banks and 'upto' $325..... participation is from many areas it seems the original 5 banks, ECAs and any other banks wanting a piece of the action....i.e. the Brazilian bank. Is what I believe now.

It is not an equity raise at project level but a sale of a % of the sub company that owns the asset. So you would have the same number of shares but now only own say 90% of Araguaia but still 100% of Vermehlo.

I've re read it a few times..... 'In addition' - means further to what we mentioned about ECAs 'included' in the debt finance. And uses the word 'participation' - in the debt facility.

It is all on the offtake then as to how much balance of equity is required.

Orion money would only pay for so much pre development costs and keep the company running. The Finance raise has been delayed easily 6 months because of Covid and HZM want to start the mine build mid year. You can't do that getting short of cash.....as you get short of cash then the more hand the finance guys have to slap you with. Get decent iis on board willing to part with decent sums and that sends a message. You also do not have your mine build timeline fall behind.
They have not fully negotiated the debt and offtake bits so they don't know the exact equity required.
Whatever you 'suggest' (does not equal promise).....macro events (like covid) and multi faceted finance inputters can change your goalposts on you and you have to adapt.
To note JM has made it very CLEAR he would try to get iis onboard and has said £100/7.5p as his target. They were targeted when SP was less than 7.5p.

Hilarious that 7.5p was hard to think about when we were 5p expecting to start raising finance and wonder how we would reach that min £100m before JM would think about raising money...... a couple of times above 7.5p and a very recent time above it and as if by magic JM raises that money at 7.5p and you all start whinging.....how times change..... We were not on a dip and have a LONG term ave above 7.05p. Forays above 7.5p are a new and welcome thing but not a guarantee iis will dig deep to get shares at those prices.

iis were selected on their desire to be 'invested' not flip. You flip with a drill campaign coming up that might fail.
