RE: 2 5.7 buys27 Apr 2018 15:10
Well back at my last buy price so I didn't get stiffed for too long at missing out on 5.3p! grrrrr.
I do feel that Archer wanted to get all the mundane and delay RNS' out to get rid of them as distractions as Portugal ramps up. Dissappointing as the Moz delay is I really feel that it a: can't take away money from the hot development of Lithium because Moz is a long term market thats only recovering and b: Given costs to get us to 51% we really needed income from Oman to support not raising lots of money to pay for DFS etc on Moz.
I really find it niave people would come on here saying oh you will need to raise money before the end of the year, if you steamed ahead with Moz your eyes would water at the amount of funds needed raised to get to 51% without help from another project delivered earlier like Oman. That opens up borrowing capabilities as you have Balance Sheet assets that are procucing income.
Then Oman damn thats been annoying being a possible precursor to taking Moz fwd more quickly due to points above, however it is clear news wise that since towards end of last year Oman is on a country wide upgrade to utilise all assets to offset oil income dropping. Mining/expoloration is onle of those things being overhauled and they don't do things quickly. Certainly not the board's fault then delays but maybe a small finger in that Oman was chosen as a place to do business and better jurisdications exist.
Now shareholders have digested the whole delay thing and for whatever reasons they occured, those still unable to grasp it/stomach have sold up and those happy to accept the reasons and also to see the new path inclusive of Portugal and the need to direct energies to it near term to counter the other 2 delays and it being a better place to spend the time, energy and money now for long term benefit.
Things change, can the company adapt, is the adaption within your understanding and within your investment goals? Those that have bought in from 6.5p down to 5.25p have those that sold either were trading out or don't want on this new path.
