If MMs are happy to take 500k shares at 6.5p they must be confident on selling them above that price, but I can't see it as a sell. You wouldn't get a price that good surely. A buy worked over a few days, reason those sells haven't done too much damage this week?

MMs stiffing any cfd sellers then by keeping bid down at 6.3..... Thats the highest sell price offered this week. Wild stallion and bigsoc should sell quickly whilst they have the chance. ;-)

Been good buying to offset recent sells but still 2 obstacles to overcome. A. Rising bid from 6.3 to 6.5 will bring a few more sells back no doubt and B. Fat 250k sat on 6.7 to plunder through.... Tick tock.....

Percent on news....... Problem is we are at a technical ceiling for technical buyers this is a difficult decision.... News will correct that!

I would have thought the closer the relationship the better! 35% of shares we know about are owned by Omaniis, JV with 2 Omanii companies and country manager is ex PAMS. Hell if we can't get a mining licence no hope for anyone else.....

Muldoon, Expect dilution before the year is out regardless of Oman. Portugal will be made up of strategic partnership / offtake that may also involve % of mina or just cash, senior secured debt/form of loan (hope ECB sees this as strategic and Portugal needing investment) and Savannah share finance to make up possible €100M that Portugal will probably need Capex. Oman would pay for ongoing drilling etc costs and such like and bear in mind there is offtake/Capex to pay back at same time. Oman may not reach Capex from offtake alone anyway. Just rest assured some form of dilution will happen later in the year, better to believe that now so not disappointed.

I didn't say it was needed to sign off but if the new law is to define the future of mining then they will probably not start anyone mining until law is in place. No point progressing to PAM if the new law is needed to define the mining activities. There is too much easy money in the copper assets to just sell it off. I am sure they would want to firm up more resources and sell it then, if selling was the plan. Or maybe just offload to one of the others that appear to want to invest in the surrounding assets. I suppose just as long as something is happening! Copper may start to rise again soon as some of the big mines are having issues again and then the advancement of EV vehicles and the charging infrastructure putting more demand and price pressure on the market. I would have thought a small high % easy mined resource of copper would be a steady little earner. I would also have thought it would need overwhelming support from the largest Omani shareholders to ditch the copper, as they invested over a long period with this in mind. Non-exc board all from our block 4 JV would have to part ways.

It remains draft until the draft is what they want then it will be ratified into law. No point making it law until you have drafted it correctly. LABS is not long finished and it was the discussion for the direction to take based in the international review. Something is happening, just not to our timetable.

Alara were at and involved in LABS, in their faces and probably a gesture of goodwill to show some progress.... My cycnical look at why they have some movement. Though PAMS will probably only sign off once mingin law is fully ratified.

Too much technical selling at this price for fundamentals to break out of the range. Its going to need an update/news to push it further unless some new larger blood enters the desire for shares.

We are at the back end of a 1 year overhaul of the mining in the country, they have made it clear that they want to improve the mining sector in many ways, one can't believe after all that work they would still sit around scratching their backsides. Part of the upgrade is to speed up the paperwork and authorisations. However, talk the talk needs to become walk the walk!

The 100k and the 150k at 6.35p are showing cancelled on the main London Stock Exchange page for SAV. Oddities continue..... Nothing on the net re:NYC conference. No details anywhere, except last night a saw a few Twitters generally about the conference.

Kop, Ithink he was referring to the price action seen in this share was last seen 2 years ago with it occuring regularly. Well the sellers are gifting a buyer cheap shares, if they were not selling, this could only be pushed up. This fairly easy ride up to the top of the range has given the buyer the volume to get a good price in and not putting upward pressure on share. Even if the buyer had to pay 6.8p, they were getting them at 6.35p during the day, so they can't complain too much! They should have just bitten the exchange price at 6.7p before close, plenty of shares were there.

These cancelled then repeated 6.35p all a bit weird.......
