You can reference the site as a piece of collated information for people to get an overview but once you try to connect it to the company or insider knowledge it becomes price manipulation to do so.... if it was linked to GCM why wouldn't they just update their own website, if linked to them it would be wholly improper market interaction.

The 1 transactions are some numpty with either a free transaction account or flat fee monthly and all trades are free. The only thing it would do would raise the bid for it to be sold.

Even after power plan, election and SOD it will be a year before FID and finance in place..... they need to fill that gap, but with coal given Government approval, newly elected Gov and the only viable short term solution in Phulbari, will the raise to get through to FID be higher or lower than 6p???

I hazard a guess MUCH HIGHER after these things have taken place. With these things in place will it be heavily discounted at strike or premium? Again when these things are in place people will want a slice of pie and that will be hard to get, a raise allows volume position, they might compete to get more shares....

MMs are not driving this anywhere.... It is driven by whom sells and who buys....

If the seller smashes the BID volume the MMs are going to drop the price, if people start buying they raise the price. It is going up and down because the seller and buyer are waiting for each other to create a better sell or buy environment. Someone wants out and someone wants in, seller wants a higher price but seems happy to keep selling if buyer doesn't step in and buyer is picking up the dips but not getting carried away. When the volume is fairly low it will move around.

You could argue that under very little pressure the MMs move trying to pick up volume, that is their remit....create a market, that needs buyers and sellers.

Shorting this would be very hard as shares are not borrowable....

Installation of a large-scale Solar Power Park (up to 2,500MW) within the Project area, to be installed within the first two years of gaining land access; operating the Phulbari coal mine as a "Net Zero Carbon" or "Green Mine"; and participation modalities for Government.

The solar is not for general consumption but to make the operation of the plant as green as possible beyond the actual burning of the coal. This coal is high energy, no seaborne CO2 cost, burns cleaner than high sulphur......If you are 'going to burn coal' you might as well burn this, it makes economic and green sense compared to any other coal. Plus not being ripped off by suppliers getting mud, rocks and water in it.

Climate Change

Although Bangladesh is vulnerable to the effects of climate change, it is not itself a significant emitter of greenhouse gases. Bangladesh currently produces about 0.41% of global greenhouse gas emissions. If all Phulbari coal were used to produce electricity, Bangladesh would still only contribute around 0.5% of global greenhouse gas emissions, which is insignificant compared to many developed and developing countries. (The USA and China both currently account for around 39% of global emissions). The average US citizen consumes around 35 times as much electricity as the average Bangladeshi. Over time, Bangladesh may be able to broaden the sources of its electricity, but in the short term domestic coal provides the lowest risk, technically proven and most viable way of addressing the country’s growing energy needs.

Bangladesh currently imports around five million tonnes of low quality, high-Sulphur coal which is used principally in the brick industry. The replacement of this coal with the higher quality coal from Phulbari will significantly improve the air quality across the whole country.

If you have already resettled 16k of 40k I don't think you'd have started unless you felt the rest were going to go too, or maybe once enough move the rest think, this move and resettlement is a good looking game I'll have a bit of that too. Once they hear how good it has been.

Equally, they have actually moved enough to get started, not everyone needs moved from the start, so suspect only the initial mine area people have moved....The land is waiting to be developed. This is a fair amount of predevelopment work and cost.

Despite the advertisement that your LEDs will last 20k hrs you end up replacing LED bulbs in your house repeatedly at 4 times the price of an ordinary bulb...... because you've bought the cheapest ones you can find from China. Ergo you have money to buy street lamps you buy the cheapest. You only had enough to buy them not maintain them. You probably can't change just the bulb but have to exchange the whole unit.

Not sure you'd want to saturate the market too much by over supply however not all coal is equal. To keep on the best side of coal energy production, you want the very best super critical power stations with the very best high output, low sulphur coal and that isn't penny a dozen.....it probably won't have boulders and water in it either. They are not directly competing products or prices. Oh there sure will be renta mobs being supported by foreign anti everything brigade that will try to get inthe way, but this is a bigger animal this time around and it won't be tamed as easily.

China will buy Bangladesh coal ahead of Indian and Aussie coal as they'll be best buddies....

There is a strengthening narrative at home and abroad that digging up your own coal, protecting your countries economy and place in the world trade stage is now the default setting.... anyone rejecting this idea will look weird indeed and likely have few friends to stand behind them.

Today, 6 September 2025, Pakistan’s newly appointed High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Imran Haider, paid a courtesy call on BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at the BNP Chairperson’s office in Gulshan.

Bangladesh importing coal - 3yrs minimum to first coal for Phulbari, 5yrs to have production to fulfill all Bangladeshi demand....absolute minimum. 8 to 10 yrs for any other large project, so they MUST import until then.

Renewable energy - yeah...and? The coal plants they have are operational for 30yrs plus if they do nothing new with coal they still need a lot of coal for next 30yrs and they have stated they wish to look at own coal and so importing until then. But that's not the end of coal, oh no they have more plants in the pipeline and doubling current one Matabari (close enough). Power needs are expanding renewable probably can't even fill the expanding void never mind replace coal currently.

Yunnus green agenda - yet the interim Government are putting together an energy plan that includes coal and even the extraction of own coal for the next government to act on. Recognising that renewable can't fill the void, they know it is not economical or stable, gas % is dropping and they NEED coal to take up the slack. The changing use of coal by competing countries around them means they are only joining an expanding club now backed by USA.

KC you are sure China can just tell us we are worth 10p and buy us out? Large shareholders won't agree to that and Glencore could just come along and offer twice the amount. They'd love a project like this! China is not the only coal miner in the world you know.

Power China has already entered into a MOU with GCM. They have chosen to do business with GCM.

Power China does deals all over the world, you don't shaft partners if you want to continue that work and be taken seriously as a partner.

The overburden is only removed in phases depending on what sector the mine has got to.

This is the whole thing about the overburden, normally it is waste and not worth a thing. CAPEX includes getting rid of overburden, but with it worth so much it can be offset against CAPEX essentially you give PC all the overburden at a heavy discount to fund the CAPEX. They get paid as they remove....

That changes the whole perspective on what is required for CAPEX to get to first coal.... Thw whole power plant thing can be funded from coal production or by that stage you have such decent value dilution is small to raise funds for furthering the project.

Dilution for project GL to contractors would value company at $509m at £1 a share......without any other dilution

Say this never got over 6p after Energy Plan and election and they raised at 6p that adds another 15mill before the contractors success fees that would be $533m at £1 share..... GL and you think this company won't be worth that?

It is not about SP but rather MCAP...... £1 is only $430m. That is easily obtainable at loss of 50% of the project instead of share issue. However I did foget the 14% dilution to the advisors that they will get as payment.

This could easily be a $4b company and the share price will be reflected by the shares in issue and how they get to production
