You do not know what you are looking at. You do know that if a buy price is struck beneath the mid point it gets flagged as a sell. For example the 247k and 358k at around 9:50 are actually buys. This happens a lot on widened spreads but the actual buying and selling real prices are a lot tigher and at one end of the spread such that both buy and sell appear to be on one side and all appear the same transaction.
If there are more sells than buys and the price is rising that would mean MMs are collected shares for a backgroud buyer and happy to indulge selling for the benefit of the large buy order fill. Equally good, someone with bigger pockets is taking off the small.

1. Many charts going out to 2030 suggest that whilst the amount of Cobalt is dropping the actual increase in batteries means the demand for it will still go up. What Cobalt is mined will need to be socially acceptable too. We are not overly reliant on cobalt to maje it work, look at cleanteq their DFS was based on $95k cobalt and changed to $55k and they need cobalt to make it viable to mine the nickel. So they are screwed.
2. There are not enough Sulphide mines, now or soon that can supply the market for sulphate. HPAL will be used there is no other alternative, usually quite expensive we are able to do it 1st quartile, so if investors are going to risk mitigate they will back the lowest quartile producers first.
3. Orion have a video out where the wax lyrical about Nickel and especially EV Nickel and they want a part of it......annnnndddd whom is sniffing around us...yep Orion! I'm going with their opinion rather than yours....no offence.

The rise suggest at 7p is rubbish suggestion (it might be but not the reason for the drop) This equity will be discussed with a tight group.....i.e. mainly Teck, Glencore and Orion. Not sure they are the type to leak or be forward sellers. I mentioned below the reasons we had a 'correction' / speeding ticket.

I am surprised however at the amounts still wanting to be sold through the afternoon, time to sell was over 8p if you really wanted to slice/trade out, the lower it goes the tighter the inflection point for it to go back up and greater risk to being out for less return on a trade. Bigger pockets will be watching now and no doubt will pounce on weakness and it won't stay down long if big money starts sitting on the buy button for an afternoon.

When the rise runs out of steam because profit takers can't hold for the gold and the buys can't match the sells, the MMs do not 'walk' it down, they rip the floor from under the sellers and drop it to an area where buying will match sells. They make money with volume, so they take it where they can find volume, they do not care if the news is coming tomorrow or next week, just they have buyers and sellers. Panic sellers/stops give them the liquidity to sell back at the lower price to the value buyers/back in traders/missed the boat first timers. Buying pressure brings it back up and as long as sellers can stay off their mice then it will come back to where it started.
This is not a one off rise with nothing behind it. There is a real direction for this company and the doors are being opened to being a very substantial player in the Nickel world. It is grossly undervalued at 9p never mind back at 5p.Anyone thinking it was overvalued at 9p and sold for that reason needs their head seen to. Technical traders, those that think profit needs banked when it still has far to run and nervous PIs with added extra 3mill options to trade out has put a stall on the continued rise to real value, it is merely a cool off and many will see drops as accumilation chanes that might have been lost if it kept going. The fundamentals will provide a strong support for any silly drop. Todays tweet makes it clear that Teck and Glencore are very much part of the discussion of getting the Nickel to market and must be a good part of the equity piece, they want this in business too and have the firepower to get it there. They will not get preferential treatment or a discount, they get rewarded with being allowed to get a bigger stake, because there would be plenty of others wanting a slice and they are not going to give up their % to a competitor. I reckon it will be based on their current holding i.e. Teck puts 3 times in what Glencore does, but Glencore gets a slice of the trading of the Nickel as that is their bag.
You might have had 9p, its only 7 now, but very likely in the near future you will be looking at 20p, so you have lost nowt if that is your goal. Spend a day or 3 out and a piece of news drops you won't see 20p because you shat yourself and sold at less than 7p.

Nope, the first two where just after the ask dropped to 6.5p (showing delayed). The ask was at 6.5p at 7:10:09 as there is a sell at that time for 6.4321, those buys came in at 7:10:14 and 7:10:52. the third one was live price.

460k and 670k buys at 6.5p and another 400k at 6.78p Dip buyers with deeper pockets. Possibly even traders that sold above 8p deciding thats enough to get back in.

MMs are playing here, they make money moving share prices. In the last 2 days you could regularly sell 1m-1.5m shares to BERB in one go at certain times so maybe you need a better platform if your packing such sums. When this is a £500m company and it is on main market with SETS trading liqudity will not be a problem.

If this is going to 20p it is but a short tterm blip on technicals and wider market cool off, nothing more.

They came in agressively at the end of the day taking some big hits but still pushing up, then the big buy dropped. Some people see the rising bid as fresh liquidity to sell into after being scared on the drop..... YOU are the liquidity for the buyer.... Scare you then offer you the chance to get out, you pounce, then someone appears having taken all your shares, who has bigger pockets.....follow the money don't give your shares to them....

Both metals got hit hard on US open alongside USD strength, but Nickel seems to have pulled it back a lot more.
