If you hit a price repeatively you can make the MM computers move away. You only need to do small amounts as it is not the total it moves on in this case but action. Hit it to drop, get more sellers etc.

If only that was possible, Brazil have said they want a factory but not sure the people can afford the cars yet. Until the new battery tech means that Tesla can flog cars at $25-35k not sure Brazil is a market big enough for a factory of it's own.

Battery suppliers have 5 year orders to major OEMs. They need to secure they supply to fulfill their contracts or risk failing to do so and losing market share and ultimately contracts. Europe wants its own supply chain and could look to lock up supplies outside of Asia/not releiant on Chinese and they won't accept Indonesian polluting metals in the supply chain. However the Chinese have experience in HPAL and we could have to work with them to move it forward.....plenty of choice out there.

I see no deal but battery day will highlight Nickel more and give Class 1 projects something more to sing about and provide positivity towards the sector etc. Talking point in the interview. Can also highlight green credentials in terms of carbon use to mine and ESG positives that battery day will also highlight no doubt.

Also whilst it may look like there is only a PFS for Vermelho, Vale spent $200m proving it up and doing studies to DFS level but for a different size project. The entire resource is almost all in reserves category.

Not only has Araguaia had PFS but also a DFS stage 1 and extended for a Stage 2 (2nd RKEF line to double production). It is apt that you should only mention 'reserves' which I think is very high in comparison to the studies' ore used in the calculations vs only using measured for example. This gives a greater level of confidence to invest.

I don't think Vale are the ones to look at here. Orion, Teck and Glencore are insiders already, Vale would have to prise it from their grip I should think.
