Exalo 202 rig was used to drill to a depth of 3600m over a 60 day period at an estimated cost of around £5.5m. What depth are we drilling? 1200m over less than 30 days? So say around £3m cost for the Tai drill.

Although DM stated the Rig should be released end of year, if Invictus drill Baobab-1, I can't see how that is possible.

So Spud for Mukuyu-1 was Fri 24 Sept with expected drill and evaluation 50-60 days. Next well Baobab-1 well 30-40 days.
Current status is Mukuyu-1 drilled to full depth and currently running wire logging tools.
It will be interesting to see when Boabab-1 spuds to determine the Down Time period between wells in order estimate Tai spud date, taking into account the additional time to transport Rig to Tanzania. IMO realistically end of Feb Rig arrives on Tai site.

The farmout was signed off over 2 years ago and it was initially agreed 2 years prior to that!!! That’s over 4 years ago and what progress has been made? 3D Seismic but no results yet. NT2 was 6 years ago!!! TPDC talk of fast track lol. I’ve been over all the RNSs since farmout completed in 2020, stating all the delays. I was going to post them but decided against.

Well Smudger if they RNS that CH-1 has been moved to a more optimal position half-a-mile away, you don’t believe that they will need a permit to construct a Well Pad and also an prepare an access road?

Thinking out load. They may even stick with the existing CH-1 location, even though it’s sub-optimal due to the amount of organisation required and approvals to change at this late stage, which would probably mean sliding into a summer drill.

If CH-1 position is changed they may have to apply for a new Environmental Impact permit to drill, before they can construct a new Well Pad and access road.

As I’ve mentioned before they need to confirm CH-1 location this month so that if the location changes, which IMO there is a good chance it will, in order to arrange construction contractors for Jan/Feb.
If they miss that window then we move into the long rainy season which is no problem to actually drill, but I’m not sure about construction of a well pad.

The news that we need, probably before the end of November is CH-1 location. If CH-1 has changed, it then leaves a 2 month weather window (Jan/Feb) for drill pad construction and groundworks. I’ll be a little concerned if we hear nothing in November with regards to CH-1 location.

Smudger… the only news we’re likely to get this year with regards to Kiliwani Seismics is that the acquisition is complete.

Bullfrog… IMO they want the Tanz authorities to sign off the Scirocco deal before drilling.

Just to be clear they are gearing up for 60mmscfd, not producing that off the bat. Hopefully they’ll get a stream of customers online during 2024 to build up consumption.
Wentworth are around 100mmscfd in their JV.

They had first refusal of SCIR 25% for peanuts and turned it down. Like I stated the other day IMO ARA will pay for the pipeline to get a better price for the gas and maybe sell direct rather than a price at the wellhead. The only downside is ARA may drag it out to get the deal they want. Just like what they did to Scirocco.

PoC … TPDC maybe are building the pipeline but they are looking for investors to pay for it!!!
