Weather: i take your point, and love your enthusiam. i think the margins we make on these products is actually surprisingly high...it's the volume that's the problem. We've flogged all this security kit for years, and the world has seen some serious security threats but it's never meant a profit. i'd be surprised if our suppliers of fever systems can produce them fast enough for us to get to meaningful volumes...but chuck in an MSC or 2 (or 3 or 4) and all these little contracts will be welcome additions to the bottom line.

i genuinely think you've got in at a great stage for WSG...but i think it's just not for reasons you think.

Thanks for the advice Mr Coin. I am indeed focusing on them, i let the several hundred thousand normal shares in SIPPs and ISA looks after themselves.

As an investor i'd argue that other people's holdings are of concern to all other holders. But it's not really your holding that gets me..it's your directional posting, your ramping and you double-faced nature.

Weathergeek: i really don't think that fever scanners will move the needle. i may be (and hopefully am) wrong but i just don't think the margins we get on them , the price the sell for and the volumes we can shift will be enough. the real money is in the large one-off contracts - the multi million dollar ones like the last couple of years, and these often involve large, vertical scanners and the like - or MSCs (like Tema and KSA and Africa). I suspect that nearly everyone who was invested before yesterday was here for Tema, not for a few immaterial (otherwise they'd be RNS'd) scanner sales.

Unlike Jim, who sold because the funding looks to have turned out to be worse than he thought, i sold a sliver yesterday as soon as i realised that the jump was a Twtitter ramp based on Covid-19. If Tema takes a couple of weeks then no doubt we'll be sub nominal again and i'll top back up and continue my slow climb towards 1m shares (include CFDs).

Not sure i've ever seen you "confide" when you've sold Mr Coin. but then i suppose, when you so blatantly directionally post, a change in posting style is tantamount to "confiding". Jim and I did yesterday, but oddly our posting doesn't seem to have changed before or since.

Fine, i'll come clean; the pizza one is not so good for humans - pretty good for 450C pizza ovens, less so for 37C foreheads. The daily use one is working fine but you can never have too many! plus i'm feeling a little flush (financially, rather than biologically) currently, so i want a full "system" at the front door....can't be too safe...the Amazon delivery people are a little uperty when i scan them before accepting their packages...but can't be too safe!

surprised that the price hasn't moved yet. was expecting it to jump another few % on the back of Doc's twitter ramping and then fall back. failing that, i thought that fallback would start straight away when there was no RNS (there was never going to be an RNS - i know, easy to say now)

NCYT tests can tell you if someone has covid-19. Fever scanners can’t. They can’t when you’re asymptamatic and they can’t differentiate between a fever and covid-19

Weather: i think you'd made a good punt here....but for the wrong reasons. this will (hopefully) fly on long term managed service contracts - notable the security at the Tema port in Ghana and possible long term contracts in Africa and Saudi.....what it won't be making a fortune on is flogging portable scanners for fever detection (especially for illnesses that are contagious significantly before a fever presents - i.e. limited efficacy to scanning).

my bet is that this little spike will fade, people will get disheartening and then the Tema contract will land and we'll be into the 20s....just my guess.

i'm heavily invested here, added 41k exposure since Thursday, dumped nearly half this arvo at 10.5

The company has to RNS when they know that there is material information. Hence board meetings will only happen after 4:30 if there is something important to be decided. the signing of the Tema contract will only be done out of trading hours.

if either of these latest fever scanner contracts were material then they'd have had to RNS immediately. if either pushed them over a material total for fever scanners then they'd have had to RNS. they didn't, it's not.
