I also partly wonder if the drop from 60 to 30 was in response to the OO, as the shares in issue have doubled, the "value" of the individual shares halves - though of course the potential value assuming all comes together as we hope is a LOT higher!

You can buy anything from zero to 100% of your holdings on 30th April (or whatever you have left of those holdings). If you take 100% you can then also subscribe for extra allocations if you wish. I worked out by careful management of investments I can go to 100%, much as I'd like to go over, it's not in my budget.

Lets hope buyers today 10 bag - if only because that would put me somewhere close to being even!!

Interactive Investor had the OO towards the end of Friday, and voting today - so I would GUESS Halifax won't be far behind those timings.

no reason why not (as far as I know) PROVIDING you have (a) the money available to put into the ISA in the first place and (b) allowance left in the current (only just started) tax year. Most of my holding is in my ISA and has the offer shares waiting to be purchased.

Personally, I think the next two weeks will be interesting but probably not anything major - the next milestone is 21 May 2019, which is the date the payment needs to be made for the shares - I wouldn't expect anything else to happen until at least that date (but what do I know?!)

If you look at the RNS it's fairly clear
(1) you need to have held on the 30th
(2) you still need to hold on the 17th
(3) you can buy up to 100% of your whatever of your holding at 30th you still have left
(4) you can apply for extra shares at that rate - bearing in mind some will have sold out and some won't buy, not all the basic allocation will be taken up, so there is room for "second helpings"

Having done the sums, I too will be taking my allowance as I can afford to loose it if it all goes pete tong - which isn't what I think is going to happen or I wouldn't put it in, but always a wise strategy imho.

I'm happy with my 17.2m! Overall to me only thing that has changed is we have some more positive indicators that our "guesses" are right. Not sure I have the spare money to buy into the OO, though I'm going to be doing some sums to see if I can!

Indeed - at the end of the day, without news we are investing on research alone - technically we are putting money into a company with no money in, and money out. BUT of course once we get the news we all think is coming, things change.

just my thoughts, but why change a name if you are nowhere near doing anything? To me, the name change was significant.

At the end of the day, none of us have one - or we'd all invest in the top riser of the day first thing and sell out at the top. We all read whatever we want (or need to!) into the news, and we get in when we can and out when we want. Having fallen for the boards "news" once, I'm still of the opinion this has significant legs on it still. For those of a contrary mind, sell now and cut your losses (or capitalise any gains). I sold out prior to the general meeting as I'd been panicked into it - back in now, and topped up today - only regret is the top up yesterday, which if I'd have waited I could have got more with. There are games to be played, but I think this one goes only the one way in the not too distant future.

You will always get those in for a quick buck - everyone has a different view and a different strategy. Plus of course, anyone who has made significant money already may want to top slice to protect the original capital - who knows? Personally, I took it as a good opportunity to top up.

Interesting balancing act then, as the minute I sell it will fly (and I'm currently in!)
