Assuming the letter of the instruction is followed, no. Open offer exists for all shares held at 30th April. If all shares are sold that offer is forfeit. Because nominee accounts (II, HL etc) hold large holdings, it's possible that they will simply look at current holdings when doing the allocation, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Any shares purchased now are outside the terms of the OO

I wish you well Yogi - the terms of the OO are that you are eligible for shares only if you are still a holder - there is some debate around that (see discussions) so you may be lucky. As to the movement, with no news the shares are worth what anyone is willing to pay - and the OO price is a marker. Having done research, my view is that selling now is wrong - but it's MY view and that may not be anyone elses and could be completly the wrong thing to do.

Exactly Havoc - and even if he ended up being right today (and if you shout the same thing every day one day you might be right - just for that day) it wouldn't matter as (as I said) the next week isn't really going to see any changes - again,my opinion. Though that said, from next week there is no more take up of OO available, so the only way to get shares is the open market so who knows??!

and I imagine a certain poster will be along later today telling us he got the prediction right (again) re share price. The price for the next week is not really worth worrying about imho - once we get the OO and meeting out of the way and the shares are admitted for trading (Friday week) we are moving more into the territory where things get interesting.

Yes, RKB, I've been working on the assumption that I won't get any excess - hence my comment to others earlier about buying on the open market - whilst not the same price as the OO (and it's currently getting closer!!) it does give you guaranteed shares - if your research leads you to the conclusion that the expected course of events happens, it makes sense to get 100% of the shares you buy on the open market (jam today) rather than potentially 0% of the open offer excess (caviar tomorrow!)

worth remembering too that if you have funds to spare you can buy on the open market at this price and get your entitlement - whilst the over subscribe may give you more, it's not guaranteed - so there is a chance to top up on the current pricing which we all think is still cheap! I've done it twice in the last week!

in fact, having re-read my letter, it's the 16th for me - Please read this notice in full and make your election by 16th May 2019 (and then later it refers to having the funds by the deadline, so I read that as 16th as well - doesn't matter, funds have been in since mid last week!)

No, the OO closing date was always 21st, but the cleared funds need to be available in most/all dealing accounts by the 17th - not sure what happens for anyone outside of an account, but that date was clear in my OO letter from Interactive

If this one does come good, it does it at the right time for me as I'm currently under notice of redundancy - but if it doesn't, all the money I have invested in this and everything else has always been money I can afford to lose (obviously would rather NOT lose it!). And my track record is generally one of getting in a little too high, a little too early or both - but those investments currently languishing at the lower end are geared up to change, so who knows. Certainly the "is this certain" comment earlier is one with only one answer - absolutely not. This could well go pear shaped, but all the indicators are to the contrary based on my research.

with my track record, you are bound to be right, I've just flushed yet more money down the proverbial. But then, research tends to suggest that my track record doesn't matter, and that this one is likely to fly. BUT each investor makes their own mind up about the investments they hold. The next week is going to be slow and long - or seem like it - and then we wait news which hopefully won't be long after - but who knows. If things were certainties things would be different - they aren't, which is why we have investors.

The RNS and the website make it clear - you are right, when doing research one should use a number of sources to be certain of facts - the internet can make researchers lazy as the first answer can be viewed as the definitive answer without any evidence for that assumption. Some of your facts are now verified, some are assumptions (which you are entitled to of course). Key assumptions being (1) Antos holding will remain the same - true, but only if he doesn't subscribe for any excess, and doesn't buy anything on the open market. The probability is that his holding will increase as both of those options could happen - but again, this is MY assumption. (2) Consolidation is invevitable - well, with such a large number of shares it's probable, but not certain (again my opinion). It's also not clear that this would automatically be a bad thing (look at some other shares where this has been announced). Consolidation when done fairly keeps the basic value the same and simply reduces the number of shares in issue.

The important thing as always for ANY investor is to do research and invest based on that. Do not get swayed from your factual research by any comment on these forums, though by all means use that as the basis for further verified research. All of which MAY prove wide of the mark in either direction, otherwise everyone would make a killing on every share they invested in, which sadly isn't the case (and my track record isn't the best one had I wanted to be in anything for a quick win - most of my investments are based on the long term view).

pretty much - your offer attaches to the account holding shares. So if you have none in the ISA you have no ISA offer. You can of course buy on the open market at current rates, just not at the open offer price. And you can buy into the trading account with the open offer if you still have BOU shares from 30th April in that.
