EGM plus going bust can be contested. He wouldn't want all eyes on him / Anton (ex finance officer) plus Olaf plus DL / TOM. It's best to get this trading again imo. If Lunn is clever/has contacts, he will get a placing away at 20p, get this relisted and the SP will boom.

Come on Lunn, just do the right thing - it ruined many a Christmas's. Time for PPP to be back on the map now.

Good morning all. I have been thinking about the whole situation this morning....

There's a few things to consider here which are positive for us. The company most probably will come out of suspension soon (imo) because the ii will want the shares relisted asap if they are to part with their cash. So I think the news is pretty imminent / just after the placing imo.

Another thing to note is IN THEORY, you won't do placings in a company that would be folding (just for example, not saying they are folding) so if anything that's a positive thing IMO, the more I think about it.

Any ii will want assurances that the company will trade again imo, I've also remembered that there are placing monies available on resumption to trading. Hopefully this is the start of the new future for PPP once and for all.

Understandable that you are questioning it, I am to buy what if we do pull of a large placing price or just a solid placing, then if we resume trading, is that a good thing or are you thinking something else going on?

I'm just thinking, is it worth me, few of us bidding for these at higher sp's to help our cause when we come out of suspension? Id assume we can't be far from resuming trading?

NewUncle thanks that's well explained regarding the auction. Surely this has operational news will do a world of good for shareholders upon resuming trading.we can not be far off from re-trading surely?

Matt the Globalvision deal wasn't completed? Even though the RNS says so, think there's some scepticism there tbh

On the Globalvision website it lists as news Globalvision buy nobel petroleum and Pennpetro Energy under their partners.

Also JJ drilling confirmed Globalvision have contracted them in Texas and have upstream assets but a NDA is in place so couldn't elaborate. GV have been on the ground imo

It seemed like Lunn wanted to renegotiate (but hopefully not only for Petroquest) but for everyone's sake.

So if I was to bid are we saying we could get the shares bid upto a high price like 40p plus if you manipulate bidding? I wouldn't mind bidding but I reckon an ii or fund will get it all. 8m shares will hopefully be "snapped up" soon but the price id hope to be high as possible. If shorts never closed their positions then could bid really high and make big money on the rise ? Or is it a dangle a carrot to the major shareholders for more % control ? Or will a pi with lots of cash be interested in getting onboard

NewUncle do you have confidence that Lunn will secure a good placing price and that he will relist the company soon or will he end up taking it private once he gets his mates in on the 8m placing? They choose after all... Seems a bit suspect to me, maybe?

No Rob-50, Lunn was the one that told Tom to do the placing at 2-3p but that would have destroyed all shareholder value after the done deals. We need to be aiming at 12p plus now.

Also id like to add that atm im still not 100% sure on LUNN. I dont know. Maybe the next week or two might change my mind, i think my confidence levels will improve if he raises at high sp placing, announces gv deal is on and operational news released and accounts signed off and back trading again, then id be happy to re invest more, atm i need to see this before i can be 100% confident on Lunn. We need the AGM IMO to clear up some issues but Lunn can prove his worth before then, maybe? Hopefully? Fingers crossed for the benefit of everyone and not just himself / petroquest.
