Is that it’s a net negative for bulls. In an ideal situation you’d want there to be high short interest on a bounce so as to help a “short squeeze” where shorts scramble to close thereby sending the stock higher (like Tesla)

Now you don’t have that chance of a squeeze for NMC.

The shares are held in the name of dummy corporations on behalf of the shareholder which in turn COULD be linked back to NMC, hence be part of the company’s debt. You get it? We’ll find out soon enough. Again not saying it’s true, but non at none-zero probability

OMG! Even if I was short, Why On earth would it be “hard for me to get out”?!
I (and every other retail) short using CFD, which is traded it a synthetic market, provided by IG (or another broker) and it’s 100% liquid to get out when you want!
Please learn what shorting is before you keep embarrassing yourself - nobody on this board is a “shorter” in the true sense!
