How much will each producing well average, you asked Abzzba. I gave my answer with supporting logic. I then explained it means 50-100 wells at $4m each to hit the (never going to happen) 5000-10000 bopd. Plus the costs of the dusters (likely to be circa 50% success rate).

You’ve given no figures yourself. A bit like FTSE and gravy barking out questions but offering zero, nada, rien themselves.

I’ll assume a very happy path that Heron stops decking at 150bopd and Heron 2 lands the probability and is commercial at say the 50bopd the company mentioned. Thst would give an average of 100bopd.

So to hit your 5000-1000bopd header we’d need 50-100 producing wells.

At $4m a pop. Then factor in the non producing wells (estimated 1 in 2 will be suspended at per PC).

It’s a lot of money, no wonder negotiations haven’t even started.

It’s declined throughout the first year so until and unless someone or the company explains why that’s going to cease, it seems sensible to expect further decline.

I’ll be staggered if the well average is 160bopd in 12months.

I’m presuming we’re discounting non commercial ones (ie the average is currently 160bopd, not 80bopd per well for H1&2).

Given Heron 1 was apparently so good but is already in decline and currently doing 155bopd and they’d be delighted with say 100bopd at Heron 2, my guess is closer to 100bopd per producing well.

So that’s an awful lot of wells to fund at $4m a pop.

How many wells will be needed to produce 5000-10000 bopd? Just asking because the 3rd greatest well in Mongolian history is only giving up 150-160 and Heron 2 just 800metres away was suspended as not commercial last November.

On the 6th May you told us your average was under 2p and that you sold on the May30th RNS - it closed 1.65p that day.

I’m up on my recent buys Mal.

My big mistake was my initial buy. The best thing I did here was to sell them at 1.81p, which was called bedwetting!

I suspect Doc isn’t referencing who has made / lost the most money tho, he’s probably referencing who wins the debates and “quotes” facts.

I told you before the raise there would be a raise. Perhaps you didn’t read all those posts, or all the ones from people like Abzzba insisting there wouldn’t be? Or perhaps you’ve simply been caught lying?

I don’t know what the price will be after gazelle. It’ll depends on results from H2, results from Gazelle, whether we’ve been paid what was due in August and whether the Mongolians have changed their mind on whether tax is due.

I regard the chances of all 4 going for or against us as fairly slim, so the SP will reflect what is likely to be mixed news. Heron 2 is the next expected news and the odds are in our favour.

Heron 2 being commercial won’t lead to a 2 x 3 increase as Thorn has just speculated tho imo. It seems the most likely result there is a double digit bopd which whilst helpful, is hardly a gusher. Every little helps tho, both in the short term £££ but also demonstrating Heron1 oil is commercially extractable. I’m not sure the competent persons report covered that bit?!

What about you, given you like price predictions would you like to answer your own question and tell us what the SP will be after gazelle results?

I’m not sure the person who predicted the raise needs lessons in hindsight from the person who told everyone one wasn’t needed and then came back afterwards saying it was obvious.
