Yes I could and can. But it must be understood that anything on the subject is 'opinon only'. i have no 'inside knowledge'.

It seems apparent (like it or lump it) that the 'Lincoln Crestal' well is going to be P&A'd, despite its 9000 bopd natural flow on DST. But the 'inability to obtain stable flow rates with ESP' stuff is odd, to say the least. I've heard rumours, but won't repeat them here, because I've got personally sick of being insulted for passing on rumours which I'd said were no more than that. Also, I've learned to treat such rumours with a big pinch of salt, anyway.

Back to the top, and to cut things short.

What Hurricane's doing, and with their various partners, is 'state of the art'.

It's the only reason I remain invested.

Take it from someone who reckons he knows something about such things. Or don't, if that's your desire. But nonetheless I may 'recall' you bigtime...

Thanks for your recent posts. Good to at last see someone else here who knows what they're talking about, or rather what the whole 'process' is about.

Reading between the lines, I strongly suspect that you're more closely involved with the 'data-gathering and measurement' side of things than I am. 'Cos I'm just an old roughneck with an office and a computer and a holistic view of the 'process'. But still with a roughneck's (or rather Driller's) view of the thing ! It's that which keeps a grin on my face !

Keep it up. Schlumberger's share price may have gone horrendously down of late, likewise Hurricane's. But that's just financial stuff, 'full of sound and fury, signifying nothing'.

For the sake of your peace of mind, I think it would be better for you to forget that as being a possibility. Or equally, that a Lincoln tie-in would necessarily be a good thing. There are a lot of unknowns, and P&A - ing a well which produced 9000 bbl/day during DST, while strange, isn't the end of the world. You can always drill another well, later on. Plus what's more interesting is that the long-lead items required and ordered for that hypothetical tie -i in are still going ahead, and one can only logically assume that they'll be put to some use. Almost certainly on Lancaster.

Hopefully Dr T will explain further during the CMD about Lincoln and the GWA situation in general. But other than the regulations-necessitated delineation well to be drilled on Lincoln this year, I reckon that we can put GWA into the bottom drawer and forget about it for now.

Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. People can say what they like about the 'Spirit deal' and so on. But Spirit paid for those three wells! They were 'freebies' ! Plus Hurricane's now got the data, and that's what counts.

Plus one way or another, they've got the acreage all the 35 km up the ridge from Lancaster (currently producing like stink) all the way up to Halifax.

GWA has now become yesterday's news, in my opinion. But remains a possible bargaining-chip, however.

I don't read it like that. Plus remember, not all the offloads so far have gone to Holland. Furthermore, there are some financially stretched companies N.Sea and surrounding who are probably hurrying to shut in right now. Just to limit the eventual financial damage to themselves. Not to avoid the damage they're bound to suffer anyway.

Without naming names, and PURELY IN MY OPINION, Hurricane remains financially quite robust in the current circumstances. In fact (no, again just opinion) quite as 'robust' as any of the 'biggies', like BP, Shell, Total, et al. Because there's something you seem to be forgetting. Hurricane is still a 'minnow' in a pond containing lots of big fish. But in terms of revenue (not to be confused with profit), it's wildly successful, hugely so compared with some of its bigger brethren. And with no aspirations to turn itself from a minnow into a pike.

If BP so much as try to renage on their 'uptake contract' calling force majeur or some lame excuse like that, I as a shareholder won't complain at all if the company spends a load of cash fighting such a hypothetical suit. But I don't think BP would dare, anyway. Firstly, Hurricane's got some pretty sharp people on the BoD, well versed in contact law. But more to the point, such a fight would become public knowledge, maybe even in the tabloids, and then BP would have to explain to its shareholders (most of whom have never even heard of Rona Ridge) why they turned down the opportunity...

No, I never claimed to be the first person in France to have caught this thing. I reckon I caught it back in December, from a Chinese gentleman who had it, and caught it earlier from his parents. He, like I, am still alive, as this post proves.

As to my 'couple of months back' thing in an earlier post, it's just a bit of literary freedom. Because explaining the rather long story of how I got a dose of CV19 back in December would mean recounting (again) the rather lengthy story. So instead, 'a couple of months ago is OK, to preclude that.

As for the rest of your post, yes, Walter Mitty had a good memory, but of things which hadn't actually happened. Mine is very unfortunately rather good, though very many are the times I wish it wasn't.
