Longwait,
"Fourthly, so many countries are facing serious consequences if the oil price stays this low - and also Trump, MBS and Putin."
There is a serious flaw in your argument. Almost an 'elephant in the room'. The trouble being, if one dares to voice it, one's immediately branded as a conspiracy -theorist or worse, open to ridicule, being hung out to dry, sent into the desert without water, facing the firing-squad, or whatever.
What is it that gives you the naive notion that MBS, Putin, or Trump really give a flying fig for the welfare of the inhabitants of their respective countries? The same goes for president Xi, Boris Johnson, Macron, whoever it is in Spain, et al. These people are interested in power, personal wealth, narcissism, manipulation of people they consider stupider than themselves (a lot are), and all those sorts of things. Which is why they are where they are now.
If you believe that Bojo cares a jot whether Hurricane Energy survives, forget it. So long as he has people serving him hand and foot (like his ICW nurses did), a nice place to live, and someone like his latest bit of totty beside him, everything's just hunky-dory. Oh, and don't forget a chauffeur and round-the-clock armed police protection.
A few weeks ago a couple of correspondents here made fun of me, asking if I'd prefer to be in Belorusia instead. But frankly, yes I would. Nothing I'd ;ike better right now than to be out on a tractor during the day, then drinking vodca and playing cards with some friends during the evenings.
