Stu,
"Trice's model can't explain the water, DSPP model can't explain the BHP.What they need is a wet FB model (a fully worked perched water model), this has always been just a hypothesis."
Yes. And also what we need is WFP (Wellhead Flowing Pressure ), with choke sizes taken into account, correllated with BHFP. Without such, the data published is almost meaningless, or rather, impossible to interpret properly.
This, (because my spectacles are not always rose-tinted), has always been one of Hurricane's technical shortcomings regarding communications. And yes, maybe the 'fault' of Dr Trice. Maybe a cause of his 'downfall'. Because despite all the presentations and so on, even for LTH and people interested for a very long time, we've never been given the 'full nine yards'. (And as an afficionado of WWII warplanes, he should know what that means.)
I do feel that if more (maybe considered 'confidential') technical information been given publicly, maybe it might have helped. If only for peer-review purposes coming out of the blue from unknown sources.
Instead of which he painted himself into a corner, so slipped out of the window.
The 'New BoD' now have to prove themselves. And also write some VERY SPECIFIC reasons why they 'believe' OWC is shallower, why all preceding models are 'wrong', and what their possible 'remidial procedures' to save the company and turn the shareprice around might be. With documentation to match.
Otherwise, and if they don't do that, they're just selling us down the line, for Shell to take over at peanuts cost. An outfit like that could do that at a blink of an eye, keep the EPS running, even at a loss, and then come roaring back in when hydrocarbons become fashionable again, as they will.
