Looking GOOD! Have a good day. AdJ
Substp / Pdog - Greetings. Do you think the rise is due to the recent speeches or is it general momentum?
Thanks. As you can probably guess from my increased posting, I am in. Unfortunately in the high 17's but he ho, plenty of room above that. Pdog, in the 40 b investment doc you posted Zuma stated v specifically that it is neither the policy of the SA Govt nor ANC to nationalise the mining industries. Although I am not keen on Zuma I think he is there to stay and a canny player within the ANC. In that doc (2009) they stated that a raillink would be built to their Mg smelter in Coega (sorry sp? Am on my phone, work outside etc.). From subsequent docs that seems to have happened. Really tryong to get a good idea whether Zuma's lot stick to their promises made in their big speeches? i.e. like the one yesterday, eh! Thanks and Regards
I had a look at the trades for today. The vast majority are in round figures. On most daily trade sheets there would be a whole jumble of numbers as most of us buy up to the money we can afford and tick the 'including charges' box. Would seem that there are bigger people both buying in and selling out? Views?
Thanks for all the info. Interesting reading. Do you feel SNRP is on track to start the big monthly coal commitments in June? When do you see the SP starting to pick up? Thanks and Regards.
"Difficult to pick up these shares in any reasonable amount" what's the dilly someone? Seems someone can buy 3 million!
I presume that there is some tie in between the Coega refinery infrastructure and SNRP's investment in railway lines in order to get to the deep water port? i.e. if the authorities dither and delay their commitment to the refinery then SNRP's rail link from the mine to the deep water port will also be put back? Question not statement
I went to the aimboy website to get some more info. I saw the following comment on the article you posted and wondered if you thought any of these comments valid or not? I am very interested in SRNP and in no way post this to de-ramp, just wanted your thoughts. Thanks and Regards, ".............. Nice to see an honest site, run by an investor for other investors. Having followed SNRP for a while, IMO your article is far too simplistic, and you are ignoring all the bear points. YOu fail to mention the small issue of the financing, which is larger than the current market cap, and in the current economic climate may be challenging! They have been doing it since March and we are still waiting! Nobody has any idea of the costs for extracting the coal, so how can profit and an investment case be made? And without this key metric, how can the investment case be “compelling”? Yesterday they announced a deal, but no price given! You also failed to mention that the infrastructure is not in place for the rail, and trucking will cost more, but how much more? As we don’t know the cost by rail even, even if we had a percentage, we still wouldn’t know the figure per ton! Doesn’t it concern you that the company refuse to give out key information that other companies give out freely? It sure concerns me, and the market seems to agree. Shades of Minmet here I’m afraid, will history repeat itself? "
Thanks for your response. AdJ
"The company has plans to develop the deep water port of Coega" Do you foresee the funding for this coming from the monthly $5.2m paycheck or is there still funds left over from the £10m placing? Thanks and Regards.
Can you tell me what caused the dip in the SP at the beginning of Febuary? Thanks and Regards.
Thanks. I bought back in for 5.34 which is more than I wanted but made £200 on it before it started to dip. Just worked it out. Am £40 up on the whole thing. I should really learn just to leave well alone!!
I have a buy order in for 5.2p. Can anyone see whether I am anywhere near the front of the queue ?
"David Tilman has retired from full time employment and has therefore resigned as Finance Director." "I would like to thank David for his part in facilitating the growth that has occurred in the Company over the last 18 month and wish him well in his retirement." Otherwise the CEO would not have said that he wishes him well in his retirement rather than "I'm sure he will go on to great things in other places". Not sure this is pivotal for the company. but the SP is sure tanking as I write this !!
What are your current thoughts on ERU? Their last RNS seemed to suggest that they had £1m of orders and double that of previous year. Good. You said they needed £400k for the price to jump. Why they thought that it was a good idea to put in an RNS that working capital is a concern etc.etc. i.e. either make a placement or don't. But that caveat aside, the news was good but the price has now dipped. Do you think this will go back up when they announce some contracts or is this threat of a placement just going to hang around like a bad smell?
Yes thanks, but had to buy at 13.3 in the end. Still, I'm happy to be here. Roll on Monday 8am.
We may just have to slink off stage right and pay more attention next time, eh?
I was about to ask the same as Firemac11 !! Is this worth going with a kill or fill first thing or let the dust settle ? Thanks and Regards
Can't get in here. Have been lock down for the last nearly 10 mins
Sorry for the dim first post but I was lead to believe that WAFM was going to start trading this Monday morning? The trading data would suggest that trading started on the 3rd of January. Outside my ken but would think you cannot trade until you have been accepted by the AIM? and the meeting of shareholders to authorize the purchase of remaining ferrum shares only took place on the 6th (Friday). Maybe some old hand could give some of us a few pointers on this please. Also looks like one of the directors/ ii's off loaded buckets of 125K blocks of shares on the first day at about 3 or 4 minute intervals. Just an observation
