If they consolidated shares, are shareholders better off now than yesterday, or is it an illusion? Usually consolidation just masks a continued devaluation, no?

I'm mostly holding, with a tiny bit in cash. If it drops a bit more this week I'll put the last of my cash in and wit until at least autumn before I get back to break even. I've got 6 years before I can retire, and my SIPP is well under water, so if the TLW recovers, my life can carry on as planned, but it's a big IF...

Even when China, Italy and Spain are all over the hump, and seem to have things under control, there's the lag to consider. They can't return to business as usual for some considerable time, or it'll bite them in the botty, so oil usage will take a good while to get back to where it was, and then there's all the storaged oil to use up. Even if the Saudis play ball tomorrow, oil won't bounce back until the damage they've done is dealt with. If they'd cooperated from the get go, the world would be able to believe 'we're all in this together' but they didn't, they showed themselves to be selfish and self serving in a time of GLOBAL crisis. That won't be forgotten in a hurry...

Seems like only yesterday Brent was over $60 and the thought of war hinted at a steep and sustained rise...

the 5k is what remains of 25k i had in Tullow before the dive from 141p in december. I came out at 8.16p thinking it could sink further, but its now on the rise due to the US cash injection, which I didnt foresee.

I have £5k to buy back in with from my ISA, I'm conflicted as to when to pull the trigger, is it just up from here?

Is that likely to dent the price?

Is it just hovering around 12p because we're all waiting on the US employment figures at lunchtime and the US rig count tomorrow?

I admit I'm lost, I'm still partly invested, but sold the majority of my holding at 8.16p thinking the last of my SIPP was going to disappear, then it rose, so I sold at the bottom, once again! It's a real gamble for me whether to buy back in now or wait to se if it dips slightly on bad news...

There's a long way to go to get back to normality for the country and the world. We've begun a nationwide lockdown, we don't know how it's going to pan out, or how long it'll last. The financial prop up is very welcome, but has it come too soon? Should they have timed it with a turning point for control of the spread and a reduction in new cases?

Is Spunken right that it'll run out of puff and sink back to 8p? Without the Trump trillion dollar injection, I was expecting the markets to limp along for at least a month or so, then as long as some positive news circulated about reduced numbers of new cases and death rates we could start the long road to recovery, at least a year, perhaps several years. As it is, we have too many unknowns ahead, China MAY have peaked, but can their info be trusted?

A sea of blue lifts morale, and I hope it continues, but its in the lap of the gods...

Fidelity are frozen out currently, so I can't buy or sell anyway, so I'll try not to think about it and enjoy the weekend.

There's a huge difference between a suspension of trading now, then a TO announcement at some agreed price, and the opinion of other members here saying any TO will be at the end of this year!

How's a newbie like me expected to get a read on what experienced, LTH are thinking?!? Is predicting prices as scientific as tossing a coin?!?

I was determined to hold my 343k shares until all this was back to normality and 50p+ is seen again, then it touches 7.5p twice and I have my doubts we're going to survive this at all. I watched it close at 9.08p and decided I would sell half in the morning and buy back in at 8p to gain 11% in shares, and maybe rince and rerpeat. I missed the chance to do that, watched it drop to 7.2p and realised I could've boosted my holding but missed the boat.

I sold 2/3 of my shares at 8.16p thinking it would dip back to 7.5p or lower, since the virus measures are crippling the economy and will be for some time, and it fking leaps up like a rocket!

I hold 127k shares and a paltry amount in cash that now buys less than it did yesterday. I love shares for their volatility and excitement, but I'd like to be on the winning side for once!!

I'm literally begging for this to drop back so I can hop back on for the ride back up, but if it drops back, will I once again be paranoid TLW might go bust?

My life savings were already committed by 13th December when this peaked at 68p. I was very happy at that moment.

The 10p sp was fiction, no one could buy at that price even though it was advertised, so does that mean the current 16p area is the true bottom? Is it only upwards from here?

not quickly, of course, it'll take many months, but recovery to the old days of £1+ will happen, and we just need to be very patient, yes? if I wait a year, my pension may be restored, because as we stand, I'm not able to retire on what's left. Ever.

When he left TLW at 43p I thought he was mad because surely we're about to rise..and we just kept dropping.

I currently have 207k shares here, and my burning question is this: could they end up worth nothing? This is my SIPP, and my retirement will have to be cancelled at age 55 and wait until I'm 68.

Is there a law that says they have to sell some asset off cheap to keep the shares having some value? I'm very new to the market, and losing my shirt daily, any help would be appreciated.

Much as I applaud shareholders here (I'm not in here, I'm tanking in TLW and HUR) I can't understand why this isn't doing better than it is?

Surely if the entire planet is panicking about a pandemic for which you have an effective test, you should have an order book with 7 billion sales? And that's if we all only need to be tested once each! Until there's a cure, all anyone can do is try not to catch it, and use the screening test to help achieve that, surely?

I don't understand why, since the virus hit the news originally, this share hasn't been blue every day, setting an all time bagging record!!

Oh to have gone all in at 15p 28 days ago...
Or better still, 7.5p last summer, doubling your investment in 6 months would be delightful, and then BOOM!

I sold here at 26p...and bought Tullow at 62.2p, some you win, some you gamble your entire SIPP on and it tanks...
