I too was in IT - Business Development & Analysis plus IT Requirements, so I am familiar with the complexity of what CARD require for the ERP. The system testing will throw up issues that need fixing/changing before the roll out. But for the dosh they will lay out there will be an agreement on delivery timescales etc.

I am not worried about the few quid I have in CARD but agree a successful ERP and RNS will set this share alight. Good Luck with your huge holding.

CARD is one, the others (but DYOR) are SAGA, MTL, SENX, and SMT, the latter the only one showing any real profit.

This is a relatively quiet period for all High St shops. . The town of Cleveleys is always busy with its good selection of brands. This morning Card Factory was pretty busy. At one point 10 to 12 people in the queue and a steady stream of others to replace them. I stood near the till to earwig. Most sales of one's and twos of cards with a sale of £12.71 that I overheard. Not huge but they all add up to many £££s

BB. Re Tour. We don’t know how much cross sales go from tour and happy customers moving up to sample Saga cruise so there may be may be good reason to stick to tour for now. Also, post Covid, there is massive demand for non-cruise holidays at the moment. TUI and Jet 2 are more or less asking for what they want for summer holidays in 2022, the upsurge in their bookings surely replicated in Saga?

By the way, is Titan still for sale? Saga may be able to sell it now, and get a better price.

Lee and CK. I agree. There is an awful lot of short termism in the market at the moment, not just in MTL. For instance, this last week has seen 10% and more swings in MTL and many other stocks. This is because too many people are focused on making a quick quid ort wo at the expense of longer term plays. MTL has been a very long wait for me but I really feel that LTHs time has come . It will be very tempting to sell up if we see a30/ 50% rise after the next results this or next week but even better to see a 100% rise in 2023.
