I'm thinking I may buy back in. I sold in May at 66p so at 46P there's profit soon. I was in the local CARD shop at weekend where people are already buying Xmas cards etc. This is the busiest time for this sort of retailer. There was a paper in the window also looking for staff, to cover the Xmas rush.

A week tomorrow should be the update. If only I had spare cash.

And senior citizens are due for a 10% increase in May 2023. About time too.

Surely at these SP levels, SAGA is a buy out, takeover or split up into profitable pieces.

Am I correct in thinking that oldies will receive a financial bonus on top of their pension later this year. i.e. several hundred pounds on top of their Winter Fuel Payment (regardless of money in the bank), courtesy of Sunak or taxpayer, take your pick.

Also, in April 2023 the Triple Lock to OAP will be restored and will equate to 10% on top of existing pension (regardless of money in the bank). And heaven help anew PM that reneges on this promise from the existing Government.

This all looks like money in the bank to Saga customers, new or existing.

Gold has hit a six week low and the world is in turmoil over Ukraine, Inflation, Covid still, talk of recession, plus the doom and gloomsters out to drag everyone down. Today’s drop is part of the above and little to do with MTL itself.
