While digging around I discovered that Nick Candy the major shareholder in MTL is a major shareholder in another company, Nick Candy 13.11 %.

I paid 11.6 to top up this morning. After initial panic and shake out the SP has stabilised. Now if MTL can follow up with an RNS about Titus docking and unloading we could be back to normal.

It appears that it was not just cyanide that has been leaking. Hence the recent selling.

I paid 12.18 showing as a sell. Bargain basement prices.

I think it's to do with what is playing out in Venezuela.

My wife and I, two teenage grandkids had a lightish lunch at The Elk Poulton. The place was absolutely rammed whereby the servers were running around like blue assed flies. 4 meals and drinks for £29.50, a price that could easily stand a 10% rise without deterring customers and regulars. Other pubs in the town just cannot compete.

Each to his own I guess but my MTL shares are a longer term investment not a quick dip in and out. Especially so when considering the longer term view even until the end of 2025 and all that comes between should be loser to 20p IMHO. Have good weekend everyone.

You can bet that when the cargo arrives it will be pounced upon by a team ready to move the shipment on. MTL seem highly organised and productive. I expect an early RNS to give more detailed timings/expectations of the plants' resting place. Exciting times and back up to 16p very soon. GLA.

Bargain prices. A few weeks ago we were at 16p. I bought more this morning since when it has dropped. The price will come back, maybe even today. UK inflation to hit 4% next month while PoG stays high. This is a no brainer.

Last week I sold three grands worth of a building dog and put it here instead. Good but lucky timing .

Metals Exploration (MTL), a gold production, exploration, and development company with assets in the Philippines and Nicaragua, announced that it has been granted an exploration licence over the Dupax project area in Northern Luzon, Philippines (Figure 1), where it has commenced an Induced Polarisation ground geophysics survey and will shortly commence a 2,500 metre drill programme. MTL said “With the grant of EP-000168, we now control 10km of contiguous tenure only 20km south of the Runruno Operation. It is exciting to have commenced IP surveying and drilling programmes over the strong rock chip and trenching anomalies we delineated at the Dupax VMS Project.”

Comment: 2025 continues to be a golden year for MTL, something showcased by the acquisition of Condor Gold, and by the momentum newsflow such as today underlines. The shares appear to be in a relentless bull run.
