Heron-2 flow testing ongoing. Petro Matad recently installed a beam pump to speed up

clean-up of the Heron-2 well post the acid wash treatment. Oil flow rates increased initially,

though then fell off, indicating a potential downhole mechanical issue or obstruction. As this

was being investigated, the well was also taken offline for realignment of the pump, which is

now complete and the testing operations are continuing. We await further updates.

 Heron-2 clearly continues to be challenging, though costs for Petro Matad remain low, and

there remains potential for new production barrels if flow can be successfully established.

Gazelle-1 onstream

Petro Matad has announced that it has now brought its Gazelle-1 well onstream,

more than doubling existing company production and signalling a significant

revenue boost. The company also continues to in discussions around offtake

arrangements with PetroChina, alongside progressing its wider Mongolia work

programme.

 Gazelle-1 onstream at 200bbl/d. Post the recent successful flow testing programme, Petro

Matad has now brought its Gazelle-1 well (Petro Matad 100%) onstream in Mongolia. The

well is initially being produced at 200bbl/d, with this restricted rate intended to allow the

company to gather initial production data and maximise recovery. The well flow tested at

stabilised rates of up to 300bbl/d (and a peak rate of c.460bbl/d), implying that production

could potentially be increased going forward, depending on initial performance.

With Brent trading at $64.50 i expect we are netting around $37.50 per barrel.

350 bopd equates to 127,7500 barrels a year so $4,790,625 per year,

Brent may go higher or it may go lower but Brent has averaged $70 this year.

The farm out or buy out will happen and soon, very simple reason, Mongolia need it to happen, they need time to develop block XX and bring the wells online that will make up for the shortfall in oil, they currently produce 14 or 15 thousand bopd, they need more.

Circa 150 bopd to 350 bopd = 133% increase, based on the figures MB gave we should be netting around 37 to 39 dollars per barrel given todays Brent price.

As for those saying H2 is a dud maybe they had better read the RNS again.

I have mailed MATAD asking if Gazelle is natural flow or artificial lifr (beam pump).
