We are paid Daqing bench less a dollar, currently Daqing trades at a 3.5% discount to Brent.

So:Brent at $70 less 3.5% = $67.55 less $1 = $66.75, as MB stated PC pays us $54 we are being charged around $12.50 for transport/handling etc.

Brent at $63 less 3.5% = $60.795 less $1 = 59.795, less $12.50 transport/handling = $47.295 paid by PC.

So our realised price from Petro China while Brent is at $63 is $47.295.

Agreed PC are holding back 30% but this will be paid, simply a case of Petro China being obtuse.

I would estimate they now owe us around £1,000,000

H2, Material cost, no more than pumping any well would have that depends on a beam pump to raise the oil, own staff etc etc, so do not let the NEGs fool you into thinking we are spending vast amounts of cash.

For what its worth we can continue pumping hell out of H2, winter will not stop us from pumping, its upto MB to decide best course of action, just as important that Gazelle reservoir pressure is holding up and we can tweak the choke and increase Gazelle production, even an extra 50 bopd makes a difference.

TYPO, RNS was 5th November not 5th Oct.

TBT, tend to agree, the beam pump was realigned and started pumping again on 5th OCT (re RNS), 25 days ago, if the injected fluids were not pumping out we would certainly have heard by now so reasonable to think we have cleared the injected fluids and now pumping oil and waiting on stabilized rate before reporting.

My guess is if we are pumping oil even at lower rate MB will keep it pumping, 5th Nov RNS mentioned the posibility of perforation blockage, ifso this could be sand same as H1 experienced early days but as we know this sand was flushed through at H1 and ceased to be an issue hence my thoughts we will continue pumping even if its low volumes of oil.

Last few days has certainly seen an increase in TROLL activity, could be that imminent news on the farmout/buyout block XX is worrying them, bit of desperation creeping in as they now understand their days are numbered, all been very strange that so many univested posters would spend so much of their lives trying to convince the gullible that MATAD is a lost cause and this has been the case since September last year, even stranger it started a few weeks before we became a producer.

Its also worth remembering the Heron field is the only untapped oilfield known at this time that has the quantity of oil in place to feed the refinery in coming years, Competent person report for Heron put the oil in place as 33 million barrels but possibly as much as 66 million barrels utilizing new oilfield techniques, so we are sitting on billions of dollars of oil and that does not include Gazelle.
