Basically , dividends in an isa allow you to invest more in stocks than the £20k cap.

Isa allowance and dividend distribution are related.

If your using £20k isa allowance every year , and you do not reinvest isa dividends or hold the cash in the isa for a future investment date, then that dividend cash if reinvested after it’s been paid away to nominee account could only buy shares in a general investment account.

If you don’t use up your isa allowance each year, or your dividends are under £1000 a year or £500 a year next tax year, then what you do with a dividend instruction is irrelevant.

You can choose. Halifax offer me 3 options.

Reinvest dividend

Pay into isa account as cash

Pay away to nominated bank account

As long as you choose to reinvest or pay into the isa account, it can avoid tax.

All depends if you want to reinvest in the stock, or if you use up your full £20k isa allowance each year.

If you reinvest divi in isa, yes that divi is also in the wrapper and exempt from tax on future compound divi.

capex will come down by 2030 latest. i’ll be intrigued to see what happens to the share price in 2025, which is when the recovery in share price should begin.

institutions buy in before retail even get a whiff of improved performance. hence if you weren’t in rolls royce during their dark couple of years , you had no chance on results day when the share price jumped 40p a time.

that’s what should happen here in late 2025, when the first rns start reporting a markedly improved balance sheet and projection.

which is what bt’s hr director indicated in a recent 2 minute video to bt’s employees … that they are plodding on building and cost cutting , and not bothered about short term low sp. they believe in the outcome in a few years.

When do you think capex will come down AND affect debt reduction, to realise this £3-4?

I have all the shares I do, but in terms of a year it’ll start occurring to rise? Im not sure. I know it’s not if but when.

All I can summarise is 2030.

I only have £3500 in here , avg 150 and divis reinvested

They didn’t hire advisors to defend against a take over for no reason. But it doesn’t mean a bid would come in soon, it could be a few years off. But it does all point to a projected significant improvement in balance sheet at some point, otherwise they wouldn’t have hired advisors.

Fleccy , being worth £4, has it not been way under valued for years, but does not mean it ever reaches true value?

It’s not just aviva , standard life (phnx) refrained from investing anything in my pension in BAE on the grounds they dont support nuclear weapons.

So they’ve missed an opportunity that had progressive investment taken place would have greatly benefited me on current price.

No one asks do I have an issue with nuclear . Why do they operate on that basis lol
