Looking at ftse performance since 2016 Brexit one can presume it’s been a failure. But for the little matters of covid pandemic and lock downs, perfectly timed Suez Canal issue , two wars and sky high inflation etc etc etc

To prove Brexit consequence, more time is needed. It may be the case that initial Brexit shocks have been masked or insulated as a result of wider global issues mentioned above. We may have absorbed those initial issues as part of the other problems ongoing.

My gut feeling is Brexit is an immediate generational issue, and a long term neutral outcome for the UK
