As long as you bought in on a low, you’re better with the share price remaining low long enough to compound at a low level. Until you want to take cash dividends as a passive income, you want the share price remaining low. Otherwise you have to reinvest dividends elsewhere, which is ok, but not ideal. After all we bought the stock as a perceived best purchase in the first place. Can’t compound as easy if it goes up.

I sold at 27.50, put it in Bt at 1.29

Topped up* again

I topped up in the 450s and I stopped up £2000 this week at 477

Well my strategy of little and often has meant I’m not in the red on any stocks except Vodafone 🤷🏻‍♂️

I topped up £400 here this week. I have a decent holding, but I only topped up £400 because my average is already quite low at 90p and I wanted to reduce my average a little.

However , personally , unlike Fleccy , I wouldn’t want to be putting faith in vod to the tune of £20k in my isa.

While I hope this will one day recover, I question how fast and how profitably it will do compared to many other cheap stocks that I invested much more heavily in the last 12 months, and which have gone on to partially recover, in comparison to vods continued decline.

I am sure this will be a different case in a few years, and better times ahead, just not so sure how much better compared to everything else.

Thursday again. Hopefully mandy collected his weekd worth of bells whiskey again and will stay hammered so we don’t have to listen to him , until next Thursday.

A lot of shares are rising. Interest rates tipped to fall next year, while Bt has locked in inflation plus rises already

I sold a couple over priced stocks today and added ill gotten cash , the combined funds purchased a substantial Bt top up

Fleccy is a condescending twerp, but probably worth listening to , he’s quite right on BT’s trajectory. It’s not coming for a few years yet though Boys.

His heavy recent investment in vod however.. will prove ok, mediocre.

I think this has the potential to go over 300p on final results if they continue as h1 or improve further. Plus the economy and interest rate reductions won’t be far off by then so this is worth holding until at least middle of next year.

I only have £555 in at 115p , having sold £500 worth at 226p a £150 profit on 145p buy.

I won’t be adding any more

If this rises again like previous rns, and we get to the 280p region, I will be selling.
