I think that the (possible/likelihood/perhaps even unreasonable) expectation of news in the immediate future can make investors wonder why the share price might weaken. I don't think there would be any reason to expect the price to move upwards at the moment. I think the best people can hope for until news breaks is at best stability around 11p or at worst a drift south until the market has something to get its teeth into. I don't think a gentle weakening is anything for people to worry about (in terms of the longer term expectations for Scancell), but when some investors suggest that there will be news soon, I believe some people get their hopes up when probably there will be no immediate significan announcements.
I don't believe we have a great deal of news to expect at the moment, so I don't expect to see a Northward move at the moment. If we get it , great. If not, nothing's lost and those who want to can get some more shares. Seems pretty OK to me. :-)
