Ok so you're not going to expect to realise the linear 6% div value effect on the Share Price that you mentioned originally, but you see it as a trade against the market induce Share Price movement as well. I did wonder. By the way (if you have the time) what is the significance of the quartely payment in the context of this discussion?

Certainly take your point about getting their **** together; BUT I don't think the IP has been ignored since the arrival of Redmile.
Significant investment in the IP by them, I just (like you) hope they took the time to establish that the BOD is up to the IP.
In my opinion (FWIW) I'm sure they did, but sometimes those nagging doubts can creep in!

Looks to me like the Govt Funding for Covidity is:-

Yes, it would be very sad to see the IP go to the US.
BUT, it doesn't have to be like that if The BOD manage to convince others on this side of the pond that we need to expedite the Financial development of the assets.
I'm sure Redmile wouldn't be unhappy subject to returns compatible with their expectations however achieved, so really it's all in Scancell's hands.
Sometimes it's all in the ability to know when help is required and act in a timely way so that the help aids rather than exacerbates the problem under consideration.
I really hope that the IP can be kept in the UK, so I believe there's no place for anything but flat out and focussed aiming for the right partners (via Urgent and worthwhile data production).
In my opinion (FWIW) Scancell have a very precise and very limited window of opportunity. I do hope they don't break it!

All we have to do now is commercialise the Science before it disappears to the US where the rewards given the various platforms should be massive.
I sincerely hope that Scancell can make the most of their own IP before it's too late!
As to the holdup in Cancer treatments in the UK that is a completely different (and very sad) issue which is something we all hope will be addressed and sorted out as a matter of massive urgency.
In my opinion Scancell have a very attractive future (both scientifically and financially) in the right hands.

If your interpretation of the RNS is needed to show the positives why on earth do you have to to tell it?
Should not the Company have put the positive point out rather than them needing "interpretation"?
Scancell should publish positives, and as I said before not rely on having their communications having to be "interpreted" on a public forum.

In my opinion (FWIW) There are a lot of interested parties who probably wouldn't want the SP to dip too far, and there's a great deal of money and influence behind such interests. This little company's share price is way out of the hands of PIs however much influence they might think they have.
