Far from pathetic, information is the best tool you can have in the investment game. The market moves on information, good or bad. Please, if you have nothing new or informative to say perhaps it would be better to say nothing.

I'm happy, please try and smile. Others have as much right to post here as you even though you may not agree with what they say.

I think the "Rumour" passed on here is a useful piece of information, as is anything that appears about Scancell in the wider market information base.
Whether it is fact or simply something pushed out into the market by an interested (Short/reduced holding) Investor it could have an effect on the SP (actually either way at diferent stages as it unfolds).
This is why I get so annoyed at the "Gang Warfare" that seems to prevail here. Drowning out everything apart frm the positives is not helpful. We all surely believe or interpret what we want to and everyone should be allowed to do so.
IMO (FWIW) any information that might affect the SP in some way is useful. I may not subscribe to the information as being factual but at least I am aware of it and then I can balance any SP movements and see whether it is having (or is likely to have) any lasting effects.
I believe that anyone who simply ignores such info is potentially missing quite a lot of the possible influences on the SP.

I think the exchanges were about a wider issue than simply one removed post.
Interesting how that one removed post had twentyu one recs. That's more than the number of posters here this morning, so maybe there was more interest than you might expect.
Sorry you don't agree, or maybe you'd prefer not to have an open discussion? Do not forget also that your posts have generated more posts on the subject, so now maybe we can close the discussion because EVERYONE has been able to have their oewn say.
Let us hope that noone wants to say more on the subject then the thread will stop.

Since its an open forum maybe your approach to peoples' posts being taken down is different from others'.

So if a moderator sees poster/s who regularly create the "spats" might they not be the source of the posts which result in the "responses" however that "response" might be termed? Thus sanctioning those who are generally the perpetrators seems to be a reasonable route to keeping the BB free of such posts that represent the initial "attack".
But that is not what seems to happen, which is a shame because the BB is not always the font of knowledge we might hope for (given the areas of "expertise" that exist through a few posters here).
Hence my inability to understand the Moderation Process given the rules you set out earlier.

I am certain that had the original post never been put up the second would not have happened.
So many posts here are in self defence as a result of an attack, but as you say so many of those defences are taken down, whilst the "Attackers" live to fight another day, and another and another.
Moderation? Well maybe, but not quite as I understand it.

I take your point, but if as you say one faction Reccs their poster and vice versa the Reccs become significant in that they give an indication of where the weight of support is in the context of one view or other.
But there's probably a good reason why that isn't correct. Or maybe not?

Does the tally of 16 "Likes" on Ivyspivey's 07.50 set a BB record for Scancell here?

Maybe it was already sold. Then you need more people to sell on command. If they don't, or maybe some who have already sold can't wait, you know snatching at trades to make a couple of hundred quid but miss the big picture. Or worse, maybe there is someone, or something simply buying all the small sells up? Could be interesting in a few days or weeks... Drift maybe, but the market may just be underpinned. There are investors out there with a great deal of cash looking for a home (much more than any we see around here) LOL

Without data the assets can't be valued (your statement about value is a guess) but you would sell if they don't partner BEFORE they produce any data.
