You've made me think about this, and you make a very good point. That is, if we approach November next year and commercialisation is not happening, it would make a great deal of sense for the CLN holders to "Stop the Rot" and actually get Scancell sold whilst still keeping their capital intact, because as others have pointed out earlier here today, there will be cash left in the coffers (if the 2 to 3 years figure is to be believed).
In that way, CLN holders get their money back, they also benefit through their low sp av as well as having sufficient control to deliver Scancell to a suitor (who will not be bidding top dollar because the road to monetisation is not clear).
People pooh pooh a "lowball" offer, but due to the structure of the funding that is precisely the risk here. PI have given up their say in the company by voting for the October cash raising last year.
Unless The BOD here can generate sometihing seriously sensational any talk of mult £ SPs for existing sharholders seems unlikely to be available.
That's why I reckon we've got just over a year to find out.
Those CLNs are significant.... They have put all the cards into their holders' hands.
