Thing is though, when you see that the first of C7's somewhat snide posts this morning were supported by 6 recommendations at least seven people seem to enjoy it.
So, I'll go along with your comments but it's not just about "the daily movements of the SP" is it?

First and most important line of my 11.12 should read,

Double negatives... Doh!

For Clarity (ref C7's 09.15 this morning).
Why I don't believe the large "Buy" trades (either during or after close) we have seen (up to and including Wednesday 12th Jan) are not Vulpes' purchases.
1) Vulpes have been punctilious in their Director Dealing submissions to date and there have been none since 3rd November last year.
2) Their recent MO has been to support the market on falling prices, not "bid up" the shares.
3) They are professional investors and seem to want to retain their existing commitment to Scancell.
4) As in 3) above.... and to pay 1.5p over the opening price and 1p above the close for 224,839 shares early in the morning on a quiet day when only 75,000 or so shares had been traded before that purchase) seems a rather amateurish way for someone to operate (unless they were trying to "push" the market North - rather ineptly) since the next trade was 100K sell at 21.44, and Scancell shares never subsequently traded higher than .75p LOWER than the 22.25p purchase accredited by C7 to "Vulpes". The 225K "buy" was hardly a dealing triumph either for share price value or even if it have been intended as a "shove" for the market on that morning!
All in all I don't believe that Vulpes were responsible for any of the sizeable trades during Market hours or "after hours" since 3rd November 21 up until and including Wednesday 12th Jan 22.
I do hope that this prevents any accusations of my "Twisting" others' posts and will explain my earlier posts to those who could not see what I was trying to say.
I stand by every point I have previously made in this (now hopefully finished) thread!

The trades (200k and 100k) that C7 referred to were intraday trades as we're those I highlighted in my 08.46.
I am not at my desktop atm but if you want the timings of all four trades (before the close) ask and I'll post them for you.
I have replied to you even though you have resurrected the Aimbig slur which even C7 has decided against. Never mind, I seem to be five people now?? At least your imagination is a match for C7. Hearty congratulations!

Well I haven't but your extracts have been very helpful in putting some of the jargon into context as far as I'm concerned.
Still not (and probablynever will be) completely understanding of the science but the facts as shown are more than helpful (and on my very low level) understandable.

If you think we'll get notification of Vulpes dealing I doubt it'll be a Holdings RNS. More likely a Director Dealing RNS. They're not in eveidence so far though.
Having said that I cannot believe that Vulpes would be daft enough to pay the top of the day (by a long margin) and since their MO has always been to buy on dips (almost publicly supporting the SP) why would they deal like an amatuer now?
To me the selective deals you highlighted look more like trades designed to try and get an upward movement running on a quiet day. Since they didn't they were abject failures, and given the market history they were pretty certain to be unlikely to succeed.
I do understand the excitement the trade at the top of the day must have fired in you, but I think it would be a good idea to sit back and wait for the Data that will most likely be the key to both Scancell's success and a much inflated SP. If the SP rises sooner it will be more to do with "anticipated" good news or a more professional operator deciding the SP should rise, and I'm certain that with your lack of market data and selective memories of trades that you'll probably not see it until after said hoped for move is underway! I suppose if you come onto the BB and say you "feel" that the SP will move upwards in the morning of every new day then you'll probably br right eventually! :-)
So, if you keep calling the SP to rise (as you did all the way from 60p to 4p) assuming the Trial results are good you will get your day in the sun again... Hopefully sooner rather than later.
That's what anyone invested here wants, the SP to rise but many realise (and have done for many years) that wishing it to happen will not work on its own. The Company have to do their bit and we all hope that we are very close to seeing the dawn of that "doing".
Looks to me like if we all wait quietly perhaps everyone will be able to say that their loyalty was worth it.
I hope it will be.

So what about the 200K sale on the 12th at 21.261 and the later sale of 100K at 21.3?
Are they insignificant because they're not buys?
Surely all large trades should be shown in any day's trading rather than cherry picking the ones that suit?
Maybe you could get a service which allows you to see ALL trades and then consider whether the selections you make are representative of the trends for a day rather than taking one or two "from memory".
Whether or not the trades are important pales into insignificance when considered in the context of Scancell's long awaited trial results.
Like it or not, THAT'S where the interesting trades and trends will come from rather than trying to predict what's happening using only VERY selective (and incomplete) "memories".

So it was actually a net 75K purchase after hours rather than a 125K buy.

I wrote this first thing but didn't post as have been out. I read Violindog's 14.45 and I reckon it fits as one slant on what I'm sure some have been thinking.
I wonder whether we'll arrive at the first piece of good news with that information priced in or whether it would be recieved with a significant (and sustainable) move resulting from that information.
It looks to me like we are a long way from the old pattern of speccy rise and then a retreat which used to be a gift for SCLP traders (particularly when a "short" biased play was almost a guarantee of profit for nearly six years)!
The SP has "settled" (or been settled) for over a year now, and I do wonder whether we'll have to have the news before any significant upward swing will be tolerated.
Scancell's such a different beast from what it was two years ago that it's going to be difficult to call the moves without simply "guessing" which I'm sure we all agree is rather pointless - unless side bets are involved :-).
Just take a look at the chart over the last eleven months.
I think we'll need hard, positive and timely data.
When that does arrive things should be very interesting indeed!

Altough they took a good profit on their sale before it was years ago they (I believe) had to do something of that nature for their own fund risk management reasons.
Don't forget they have to keep withing rukes when professionally managing their overall exposure to an individual investment.
Be a bit of a laugh if it was Calculus and they simply moved that tranche from one fund to another wouldn't it?
