Thanks for that.
Hadn't even considered economies of scale in a Trial environment, and even the idea of spreading the Trial across more sites and in larger numbers has really illustrated the problems that a Scancell sized Bio faces. All that's in the context of a pandemic as well as the demands on the healthcare sector from even more diverse staffing problems.
It's interesting to hear different slants on the way forward for Scancell particularly from people such as yourself who have first hand experience of the issues.
Again thanks for the response; I'll try and temper my frustration by turning up the hope control!

Take your point, Are there enhancements that might tip the balance or would that be about the best that can be achieved? Apols for asking naive questions, but I really have little idea of the way through what seems to be a major sticking point for Scancell (quite apart from Covid et al).
Whilst appreciating the difficulties I guess it's pure frustration on my (as well as many other shareholders') part.

Thanks for your levelling comments, I can quite understand the need for the Hospitals to get involved with the Big players when it comes to trials.
So what is the answer to get small Bios' products into trials?
Is there any way that you can think of how Scancell could realistically edge their way to the top of the heap in the Hospital/Trial stack?
I can imagine how it might be done but you know how the industry works...

we're only blue because the spread's been widened to incorporate the offer at 14.50.
Do you remember that you posted this morning that the BID was 14.16 (r something like that - your post seems to have been removed) and that that was good because it had been rising slowly?
Since it's now 14 even that suggests that the SP isn't improving (using the rationale you used this morning).
It's difficult to know what you use to determine trends in the SP.
So from a tight spread 14.166/14.22 it's now 14/14.50 and you call it "Blue"?
Seems an odd way of looking at it, but then if the SP was 14/15 would you say it was even better?
Anyway just fancied mentioning it and am happy to discuss if you'd like. If not no worries.

Not sure I can agree with the (perhaps unfortunate) connecting of RG's recall and the SP drop (although maybe the message that there was a gap that needed plugging may have been the unintended PR and SP result of the move)!
Otherwise I am in agreement that Scancell have to SERIOUSLY address the IP Commercialisation and this is something that isn't new to my posting history It's been a bee in my bonnet for literally years. I'm not sure we can keep wanting to "Improve" it whilst not financing the whole range of assets by judicious licensing/ sales of some of the Science.
I know it's not simple but PLEASE BOD... let's see some benefit from the world beating science we are seemingly keeping all to ourselves. Let's share it, one way or another!
I do hope that the company gets the idea (and maybe the positions that need bolstering attended to rapidly)!
Hoping for the bunny (to repeat an analogy from (5?) years ago) to be produced... and soon!

I wonder whether the view of Scancell's IP commercial development (or lack of it) is the reason that the SP languishes at slightly north of 14p ATM. :-)
I have some sympathy with your views expressed in your 12.58, and sadly that's the image that Scancell are projecting into the Market.
We have the backers, the capital but seemingly not the patients.
LTH here have demonstrated massive patience, hopefully the Commercial development arm of Scancell can reward that if only as a demonstration that not everything's ground to a halt whilst capital evaporates.
I hope upon hope that something informative and value enhancing gets published soon.
I think we (LTH) deserve that at least!

To resume the non personalised Scancell discussion all I'm hoping for here is to see at least part of the IP commercialiised (if nor all).
I don't doubt it's achievable buy I am trying to keep an element of realism as to the timescale over which it can be achieved.

For clarity it would be helpful if you would let us know who you are labelling the Trading Doom Brigade, rather than hiding behind innuendo in a rather cowardly way.
Once those accused by you are identified then they might like to consider their position in terms of your oft quoted accusations of libel.
Otherwise your rather oblique posts in that vein are pretty much as they appear; childishly useless.

I have certainly not stated that the appointment of LD as CEO was unprofessional. I would as I've stated been happier had LD's appointment been temporary. The job of CEO is greatly different from being all knowing of the science and being good at presenting. Both have their part but other requirements are also required.
Since CH's departure was instrumental in LD's elevation to CEO as well as retaining the CSO role (with such different responsibilities and calls on her time) it has not been too clever to advertise the fact that within months another related appointment would become necessary. Surely it would be better to announce a new full time Officer rather than show a former senior member had to be called out of retirement to plug a gap.
It doesn't inspire confidence that Scancell are in charge of their game, more that they're firefighting their way along.
Although I didn't suggest the word unprofessional since you introduced it you could well be right.
I want to see a company with planning and predictable steps forward, not one that's constantly catching up with events. I want the company to dictate those events and I don't see much of that happening ATM.
As I said before I'm back at the Bunny and hat stage now, and I do so hope someone manages to produce a trick to pull one out, sooner rather than later.

We know that RG has taken on the role on a temporary basis so obviously there will be a replacement appointed IDC.
My point was simply that it was a strange idea that LD could ever have the time to manage the three roles she had taken on and it was a strange idea (for want of a better word) that anyone could have believed it would be a practical proposition. I think it suggests a certain naivety or maybe lack of experience of the demands on the senior officers of a company of the type that Scancell has now been forced to become a,nd it's a shame that the move looks less than well managed.

One of the most frustrating issues for me is why only now has anybody realised that if you decide to have the same person acting as CEO and CSO isn't that something of a crazy situation?
It might not be quite so bad if the CEO/CSO wasn't still obligated with university responsibilities.
Surely the likely overload on LD must have been appreciated prior to her appointment?
So the effect of announcing RG's interim appointment hardly advertised Scancell's appreciation of its changed nature from underfunded and under resourced university offshoot to well backed and capital rich (in 2020) as we are so often told market contender?
The last CEO appointment was for me a disappointment (after discovering it wasn't an interim measure) and now Scancell again are on the back foot rather than demonstrating their ability t o take on the world! I wonder what event prompted RG's return from retirement?
It should be remembered that every time we show reaction to events rather than getting ahead of the curve the company's position on the grid slips a little further.
Let's hope for the provision of an unexpected bunny from the hat!
I believe that is now needed more than ever.
