I'm sorry but why would Vulpes buy shares BEFORE the fall?
If they had done it would have been a very poor trade.
Perhaps they decided that a buy at 21p+ might not have been a good idea and if they did think that they would have been right.
Now people are hoping that they have bought.
Their significance grows....
We shall see...

I think it's good that people are beginning to identify what the Vulpes interventions have generally been about. Apart from the notorious sale before the clock was started in terms of WTP's comments below, the buys have always been as a support operation after relatively good news has been released via RNS. The more interesting side of the equation for me has been why the S P has weakened so reliably after not bad RNS in the last year and a bit. It's been a winner to sell after news and then wait for Vulpes the buyer to come along and save the day.
To the unsophisticated observer it all looks a bit pat.
Problem is we do need some really good info which will allow a sustainable move out of the low 20s but sadly it seems that the SO is not going to be allowed to break up until there's good solid data to hand.
So IMO we'll be hanging around the current levels until we get some results from our currently sparsely populated Trials. As has already been mentioned by Burble it's not yet the end of the world but Vulpes can't hold the line forever. I'm sure the BOD have been acutely aware of this, so presumablynot a worry yet.
I did say I wanted to see where we close tomorrow so we can establish how effective the Scancell S P management system has worked for the interim info. release.

Now, if ever there was a day to suggest maybe a DD RNS might soon appear I would have thought it would be today.
I'm not saying there will be one, but it is a possibility.

Thanks Burble for putting the lower than expected recruitment levels into perspective.
Sadly there will a number of impatient "Investors" who will likely not be quite so forgiving.
It will be interesting to see how we hold our newer level and whether the support many hope for will be forthcoming today or whether the price will be allowed to find its own level.
I thoroughly support Burble's comments but the delay will irritate some who were looking for very good short term news.

Your 13.21 is IMO precisely the way to look at Scancell now.
I firmly believe that SP wise it is far better to expect little and be pleasantly surprised, rather than to expect more than is realistic and be disappointed.
The latter situation has been the prevailing output from many BBs over the years and that has been so counter productive.
We as investors seem to be in the best place with Scancell that can be expected at the moment with a great deal of possible news to come.
When that might arrive is anybody's GUESS but applying your logic from your 13.21 is again IMO the most sensible course of action to take.
Then when (and if) we get the results we hope for maybe everyone can celebrate together rather than all trying to take credit for who's the "Cleverest" in anticipating the good news.
I think we can all accept that nobody can really claim to be the best if they've been trapped/invested without a break in here for the last ten years or so.
So Chester thankyou for your first paragraph in your 13.21 and your candour in writing it. I believe you have hit the nail firmly on the head! All credit to you.

I'm looking forward to seeing where the SP ends up at the end of this week.
If there's nothing significant in the Interims (and yes I know SCLP will make a loss - we don't have any recurring revenue yet), but what to me is more interesting is whether the SP will be allowed to improve even if any good news is the sort of info that would normally be good for an SP rise.
I like the idea of Scancell being kept on a tight leash until we have the first significant Data released and that seems to be what's been going on here for the best part of a year. 'Til Friday's close then; so only a few days to wait to find out now...

I'm not sure it was a promise in any case but you can't say it did not happen. It could happen next week couldn't it (or maybe next year. Seems he may not have been the evil seller some said he was last year....

As to commenting on Scancell's science I am not needed for that as there are more than enough experts to cover the ground. I try and add a little balance on the market commentaries that might occasionally become less than objective.
Hope that explains.

I expressed a perfectly reasonable counter to claims by C7 that Vulpes were buying. Yesterday he stated that he had neverstatedit was them. If you read my last post at the weekend you'll see I suggested the thread should stop. Sadly it was resurrected by C7 onMonday. I have only replied in my own defence.

If you're going to support people get your "evidence" right.
C7 has stated that he didn't imply the buyer was Vulpes in a post yesterday morning.
Now you make out that he did suggest they were the buyers he was talking about. His Monday post has refuted his earlier post that said he did.
Perhaps it would be better if you let C7 make his points rather than making him out to not know his own mind. Once more you get involved inaccurately and unhelpfully.

Sorry, Level 2 may have changed but I was happily seeing the bid at 20.8825 for 200K+ at the time. Not all platform operators are on the Level 2 pricings should they have their own supply or deficit.
Anyway we can see what happens as we watch the rest of the day, but as long as we aren't showing readers the wrong reasons for pricings and trades everything is fine.
BTW I take it you didn't want to know thre timings for the trades you were "discussing" over the weekend?
As a couple of posters have intimated today, maybe the subjective (or even ill informed interpretations of trades ) on an obsessively regular basis might actually be counterproductive, especially if when questioned some posters resort to less than reasonable slurs and comments).
Is there any particular reason for you referring to me as Aimbig? I'd really like to know.
