With the prospects of upfront payments, Royalty income and licencing fees, what part of Capital Appreciation and potential Income Flow is missing from today's scenario?

The SP has appreciated in expectation of dividend payments in years to come and as such the SP has appreciated (That's the Capital Appreciation bit).
Since your post last week was at best snide and at worst demonstrating ignorance of Equity investment principles why can't you just sit back and accept that today's announcement was brilliant news, and so forget about making the snide comments such as your last post's,
(".......and the random spouting of '6p coming' looks even more cretinous than it did at the time.").

That little gem was completely uncalled for, and in the wake of your highly uninformed (if not equally cretinous statement on Friday last week, rather drawing attention to your own lack of understanding.
It would be so much better if you could simply enjoy a good Scancell day without the need to snipe at others when your own credentials are hardly glittering.

No twisting, just explaining to you the basis of equity investment which you seem not to understand. It's all about expectation of return either Capital or Income or a mixture of both!
It's simple really.
Expectation is what drives the Share Price you see.
Never mind.
Good to see RM and Vulpes staying the course. They seem to get it.

The entire essence of equity investment is that capital is invested by shareholders which finances (in the case of a company like Scancell) R&D with a view to benefitting from distributions from the company once a business model is designed and delivered, That distribution may be simply Capital (takeover/ Buyout) or distributions via Dividend payments (licence flows/ part sales of IP).
Since RM and other institutions have invested here why would they do that if not for Financial returns?
I trust, RW, that you will be writing to Redmile and Vulpes et al to let them know they need investment advice, but maybe not yours.

I've just reread your 09.13 and I'd missed something on the first read.
You mention "there is so much going on in the Company", but by definition none of (whatever that "so much" might be) is required to be published (unless Scancell are not doing their duty in publishing legally required information - and i won't accuse them of that)!
So if there's nothing price sensitive to publish what's the beef? Even Chelsea11 admits to negativity in his own mind, but if there's no data that should be published where does that negativity come from?
I think Scancell are guilty of lack of understanding of their shareholders needs for moral support (after a distinctly apalling return over ten years).
OK the science might be great but most aren't here for that. People buy shares for capital appreciation and the likelihood of an income flow over years.
Well, Scancell have had ten plus years to provide both, but with only a short time of sustained Capital positive price movements and no Dividend in sight it's probably better that they have been very sparing in the release of good news..... That's because for the inmvestors looking for a return of their funds there's been precious little that I can see.
Calculus demonstrated frustration in 2016 (or maybe it was 2018), whereas most Scancell shareholders have held loyally on.
The best information Scancell could now impart is an impending distribution from some form of commercialisation of the SP.
Since that seems unlikley to be the case (an RNS would be required if asset sales, licences were in progress) I'm not sure they've got a lot to say.
I know some posters will be ready to say that they're holding back information for the AGM..... Yes, of cousrse they are; just like so many people have told us that for every AGM since 2012.....
Can't wait for the end of November or whenever Scancell deigns to share its information this year.
Hope I'm wrong, but I've learned not to expect too much in the next Chairman's statement.

Please, what is the point of guessing (and I use that word advisedly) when the next RNS will hit?
It'll arrive when Scancell decide to release it.
I wish I had a penny for every post incorrectly predicting the date and time of the new pivotal RNS over the last ten years. It wouldn't change my life but it would provide some worthwhile "income" from my investment in Scancell.
Hopefully we'll see some income from commercialisation at some point.
When will that be? I don't know, but neither does anyone else who posts here.
