LL Sorry, just realised where you're coming from with the Share Buyback facility.
That relates to Conviction's management, not Scancell. Conviction are in a position to acquire Scancell shares already in issue and so a large holder could usefully reduce their holding by arranging a putthrough which would not upset the market but would introduce another significant investor with the plus benefits to each party.

Read the first post and it should show that a new investor would be a fund provider for Investee companies.
Don't think the idea was in any way linked to a buyback...Scancell's going to have a voracious appetite for cash whislt they continue to develop their Platforms before commercialisation.

Do you mean what is the value in Scancell's hands or what the ultimate value after full commercialisation?
I think there's a great many theoretical decisions to be made such as at what point does Scancell hand development on, over what time period and what the economic circumstances (both Company and International) are along the way?
It's a massive question also involving the amount of cash Scancell will have to expend to get the product to a saleable point.
I think it's probably better to wait results of trials and then reconsider the possibilities any other approach is pure guesswork and so virtually useless ATM.

Maybe they have contacts in companies where holders would be happy to let them take shares at a particular market level on a put through basis. That might well be an attractive proposition for both parties and would be particularly good for Shareholders expanding the shareholder base and demonstrating the appetite for shares in the market.

So what will the investors on here do if they discover that (and please forgive me for this) that one or more of the trial candidates doesn't show any regression (or Good News)?
Will that prompt a raft of sales of SCLP?
What if one of the people in the trial is misinterpreting what the trial is doing for them?
I hope everyone here who is even thinking of acting in a financially motivated way to what they find on a support forum for victims can live with themselves.
I think the use of the forum that you're all referring to to make investment decisions is beyond disgusting.
Even if the early reported successes are kept up (and I hope for the individuals concerned they are) whatever the financial results for the individual investors I believe the use of this privileged information makes the users and reporters of it morally bankrupt.
Just keep on taking advantage of information being shared elsewhere and keep using it in your attempts to make money. I just hope and pray that nobody decides to bale out of Scancell because of what you've stolen from very sick peoples' discussions with one another on a forum from which you have no right to be benefitting.
Scancell will tell you how the trials are progressing but that's not good enough for many here.
Shame really, because some poor person might just start a run on Scancell's share price.

I'd be very surprised if anyone who's been invested in the Company since 2011 or later would say anything different. In fact it really doesn't matter what size holding anyone has, they've all experienced the ups and downs of the Scancell rollercoaster and those who have modest capital means should be admired for their faith keeping as almost certainly it would have affected their lifestyle to a much greater degree than anyone who is a multi millionaire!

Although my ideas are slightly different from your interpretation there's plenty of overlap.

I wonder how far away from being self funding/ partially self funding Scancell actually is?
There's indicators that the company's funded until early 2024, so maybe, just maybe there's potential for some real commercialisation during the next calendar year when hopefully some Data might give a boost to the company's coffers.
Now THAT would be handy.
The very idea of Scancell producing a positive cash flow (either Income or Capital) would create a seachange in the way the Market views the stock.
Maybe we have to wait a bit longer but the cashflow situation is (IMO) possibly the greatest point of interest for me over the next two to three years. In this connection don't forget the CLNs.

So no need for my erroneous, "seems to me".

I imagine anyone prepared to go public with their story in the media might even go to the trial runner first. It's a bit different from someone having their name and EARLY responses simply taken and published on another BB . Anyone asked Scancell whether they're happy about it?
Seems to me probably not.
Ask yourselves, would "Lindy" be happy about it?

Crumbs, data releases from the trial runner are anonymous. What is being posted here is personalised and if things carry on as they are and if the other forum continues to be raided for (personal) responsed to the trial surely you can see the difference?

Please, please let's not have day to day reports lifted from exchanges on the forum that's just been opened to this bb. The day to day revelations from the real people who are suffering with unspeakably cruel symptoms should surely not be reduced to pawns in a game of what their next results will dictate what drinks and nibbles will be distributed amongst the lucky shareholders here. Celebrating great Data is one thing. Using people with names and using their individual progress is (in my view) incredibly wrong.
