Strange how interpretations of the written word can be so varied.

I believe that since a market runs on information entering the public domain it's important to look for this detail.
Consequently if the market in one area is primed to expect announcements/data/results at a particular time it will generally "overexpect" with the result that if that information doesn't appear there will be sales from those who had positioned in front of that expectation for a profitable sale post release of that information (Buy the rumour, Sell the fact).
Could easily be that's what's happened here.
Roll on (for hopefully good news) the next release from the Company which will put us back where we should be.

Probably simply lack of interest.
SCLP has been swept upwards on a wave of euphoria (irrespective of the underlying good news re trials), but the market needs some time to consolidate and digest what's revealed so far.
I'm sure that the reverse will occur once we see more tangible news and then dependent on the quality and source the SP will surely rebound with a vengeance.
Just a waiting game if everyone's hopes are confirmed.

and if the people on the Trial (together with other close support posters) have been encouraged to form a private support group then the support is still there and the sensitive information is kept (where it should be for the duration of the trial) under wraps.
Seems that everyone wins out in that (possible) scenario.

Anyway however you view it the Offer even better now so let's just say with Bid (ind only) now at 23.0005p for £35k ,better buying prices have appeared even with the rising bid you noticed and published this morning.

I say again that Multimillionaires have investment Ideas which seem to differ from mere mortals .
An offer price 6% lower at lunchtime than at the off is not to be sneezed at, but to a rich man it's obviously nothing wort hworrying about.

Just for balance bid for £35000 now 23.5p Ind only.
We all think the SP will ultimately rise but so far today it's in the red.
It all started out because you were saying that the bid was slowly rising. I stated that it was dangerous to use individual platform "Dummy Trade" prices to predict the next price move.
So far it's shown how dangerous it can be. The result of Buying earlier this morning at 25p+ will (almost certainly) prove to be OK in the long run, but for those who are not multimillionaires the odd few pence on the price makes a difference.
The offer price is now 23.75p.
Big difference from earlier this morning when the bid was rising?
So maybe the whole thing is to do with how much money an individual Investor has. One size doesn't fit all.

Well, If you now agree that your attempts to call the market in 2016 were flawed, why on earth would you try now to show you have expertise in predicting movements?
Oh I see, YOU'VE not changed your spots,, but then again, when the general expectation of a rise in Scancell's SP seems likely you might get it right every now and again.

We all expect the SP to rise.
All I was doing was to demonstrate that trying to guess the Day's movements from one Platform's pricing is dangerous to say the least.
You're up against much more sophisticated systems than one quote at any given time can show.
I'm sure you'll remember that GF, from the times you were paying 19p+ in (2016)? and you were convinced that the SP was going to break upwards.
Now we have the likelihood of Data being announced to support the possibilities of Scancell's IP the concept of rising prices is much more likely than it was six years ago.

Individual MMs/Platforms will have different levels of supply and demand so until they are put through the market they will have completely different levels at times.
It's that simple.
