Nice article on seekingalpha about Newcrest. It mentions that the FY2020 results are available on the Newcrest website but I must admit I've been through the website and I can't find them yet. Still worth a read through it - it's very complimentary about Havieron and basically says it "WILL" sort out the issues at Telfer for Newcrest and Lihir is the only problem child for Newcrest now.

I think out "hydrogen" may have contributed a comment at the bottom of the article - Thanks for the namecheck....

I think that Gervaise & Callum are both excited by Panorama and the gold & cobalt possibilities that exist there but obviously all the near-term opportunities lie in the Paterson ATM. Panorama will be kept on the back burner and hopefully if THOR make a good discovery in the adjacent tenement then maybe we will be the recipient of some nearology for a change.

@RA - yes you are correct if anything is found there it would be within the 12 blocks of the farm-in and therefore would be subject to the same terms as Havieron.

It would make the PFS, FS and the 5% FMV calculations very interesting indeed.

@TMT - if the plumbing that Alastair talks about does continue on then there must be a "good" chance that there will be other hits in the area. I don't think the sulphide zone will continue all the way up to the boundary but there may well be other breccia pipes or folded sequences along that fault line.

I didn't buy into ARV in any sort of big way unfortunately as funds were limited at the time but I did get in about the 3.5c mark and I think with the sentiment as it is they will be testing the 10c mark tonight so very happy with the progress there also.

GGP is still my first and best love - Havieron, Scallywag, Black Hills Paterson Range East, Rudall, Panorama, Tasmania and even Ernest Giles - there is no other company to touch us for potential.

BTW - Richard Branson can bugger off and get his bail out somewhere else. LOL - Paddy

Yes as far as I'm aware AJ. You can have as many ISA's as you like but you can only pay into one in any particular tax year.

@hopefullygold - what did you make of the interview?

One hit for Artemis at Kzinti and boom - I've just been checking out the RC drilling situation and they seem to be good for up to 600m - $30AUD / metre seems very cheap although I did hear Alastair mention that figure also.

So a 600m hole would cost roughly $18,000 AUD - round that up to $20,000 and convert to £GBP - works out to about £11,000. We could put an awful lot of 600m holes in the ground with the money in the bank.

Hi panama - Alastair was talking about 20Moz of gold at Havieron over 12 months ago. He studied geology at Perth and did his thesis on Telfer style mineralisation so he knows the region very well.
Imagine if Artemis hit at Kzinti which straddles our tenement over 2km to the north of Havieron - oh my

@MFU - I think that was a reply from somebody else who was probably saying if the copper, sulphide extensions and all the breccia were included then the MRE would possibly end up being 15m ounces. That won't happen as the drill density to achieve the JORC standard necessary to be included in the MRE won't be achievable in the time available to NCM.

I would be over the moon with 7.7m ounces - it could well be less if they only include the sulphide zone but I'm just trying to show what is achievable with what we know now.

I have just looked at the measurements in 2D and then used a rough depth to calculate the volumes - I didn't even think to look at the volumes in the NCM report - I have just tried those figures in my calcs and we would lose about 1/2m ounces from my total.

Hi Spratt - I have kind of allowed for that by reducing the g/t from the 6.7g/t that Hannam had allowed in the sulphide zone to 6g/t. The higher grades were in the top 1/3rd and as it narrows down it will transition into the breccia zone which will probably be higher than the 1.5g/t I allowed in there so I don't think it will be too far out.

I'm sticking with the conservative figures for now - Paddy
