Gervaise has just tweeted to say that GGP never release core pictures prior to results RNS - therefore these must be core pictures from Havieron and not Scallywag. Still they look amazing.

Great news for both GGP and NCM IMO. Sandeep wants to be the CEO to build up a new era for Newcrest in the Paterson.

In a couple of months they will be a hundred metres into the decline - that will be 24/7 work.

Also as Spratt said they drilled right through the summer season last year with a break of about 2-3 weeks for Christmas. No reason to think it will be any different this year.

I'm still here - checking in most days, very busy at work so don't get as much opportunity to post as I used to.

Everything is looking rosy in the GGP garden - looking forward immensely to the next 2-3 weeks. It's gonna be stellar - IMO of course.

I was doing a bit of browsing on the Aussie Minedex website this evening. When I was looked at the Havieron project page I clicked on the "information source" tab and looked what popped up.

It says that the Mining Proposal was received on the 10th September but was only registered on the 18th November and is "Under Assessment" by the DMIRS now. It won't be too long IMO before they get the approval and we should hopefully see them break ground on the box-cut from the satellite images.

Newcrest has absolutely nailed every target that they have set up to now so I fully expect them to start on the decline before the end of the year is out.
