Yip the last 4 releases from NCM have all been between 8:30 and 9:00am - Melbourne time in Aus.

So anytime after 11pm tonight it should be fireworks, couldn't care less how the SP reacts tomorrow, Friday, next week or next month - eyes on the big prize peeps.

Artemis have no JV agreement with NCM or anybody else for that matter - there ground in the Paterson is owned by them 100% at the moment and that's why I've taken a position with them a while back. It is speculative compared to GGP but I can't believe that the mineralisation that is tracking that NW structure beautifully will stop short of the boundary.

If Apollo does prove to be a decent sized deposit when it's drill tested then it will get very interesting because some of it spills over into the bottom of the RIO license also.

Oh the fun & games that are yet to come.

Got a nice detailed satellite image of the box-cut area today - looks like the edges and the bottom are well defined. According to the presentation the portal development would be done during May so I'd say they are well on track to do that.

That is true indeed TT and as we've been saying for weeks & months, it won't effect the eventual outcome here one way or the other. It might get everyone wound up and a little hot under the collar but ultimately GGP will be valued accordingly.

Anyone who is invested and not bothered about trading will take the news tonight and happily sit and wait 6 weeks for the next interims and so on until we are either mining this monster or NCM make us an offer we can't refuse. Either way it's going to be a long way North of what the share price will be at the close of play tomorrow.

@hydrogen - we saw them sniffing up around Apollo at Christmas time but we saw activity up around the tail-end of the Atlas target (it was called Kzinti back then) about 800m north of Havieron around about last June.

That is roughly in the area where we see the original explosive's magazine located - maybe they might have something to get off their chest in that area as well.

Anyone remember Sandeep's speech at the Melbourne Mining Club last week when he said something along the lines of "every hole we put in hits more gold"

Well from the last interim report 7 weeks ago they stated this :

"Newcrest commenced drilling at Havieron during the June 2019 quarter and have completed 154,953m of drilling from 179 holes to date"

Then from this morning's presentation

"Well defined ore body: Newcrest has completed > 200,000m of drilling from 204 holes to date intersecting high grade gold-copper mineralisation"

So when Sandeep talks about every hole they put in the ground hitting gold he is referring to roughly another 50km of drilling that he is privy to but we are not yet - nailed on cert, no-brainer, absolute certainty - what more evidence do people need to see.

I'm so happy to be in here from early days - it's going to be an epic journey.

Yes I agree with you on that 100% - I know we spotted activity in a couple of different spots to the North and NW of Havieron over the past 12 months and Apollo and the tail of Atlas (which used to be Kzinti) both cross the GGP / ARV boundaries.

It will be interesting to see where ARV start when their drilling campaign begins in the near future - I believe they are just waiting for heritage clearances before they start.

All in all - it will be an interesting and exciting 6-8 months coming up.

One thing I did spot in the presentation today was point 7, on slide no.10

"Resource is augmented by discovery of mineralisation, nearby to existing Breccia pipe"

In the last two reports from Havieron we had the following statement

"Further targets outside of Havieron, but within the Havieron Joint Venture area, have been identified
with the potential to conduct drilling to test these targets in the future."

Have they now drilled some of these further targets and actually discovered mineralisation or are they just referring to additional extensions to the defined breccia pipe?

@Spy & @Mickey - I tend to agree that it points to something a little more substantial than the usual quarterly report.

Some nice pictures in there of the progress on the box-cut and the site in general - excited to see what Sandeep has to say tonight.

We spotted last week that RIO had started clearing some drill pads at the Budjidowns target - well on the satellite image from the 25th it seems that they have been busy a little further North again at the other historical Newcrest drilling site on their license - called Dekka.

Things beginning to warm up nicely out there - and I don't just mean weather wise.

Little doubt in anyone's mind that we will be getting superb results again tomorrow night, the only question in my mind is what will they be prepared to divulge reference any other potential surprises at Havieron.

It seems the recent drop has definitely spooked a lot of nervous ninnies and even traders who are now unsure of what to do in the run up to results. It's quite funny really that as we are getting more & more detailed and closer to pulling all that lovely gold and copper out of the ground the more people are concerned.

I get that the spivs or whoever else is responsible have killed all positive sentiment and momentum (for now) but it will return just as quickly IMO.

I'll be waiting with bated breath for this next installment and many more to come.

I don't think they will upgrade the inferred MRE - I think that will happen when the PFS is released in September, what we might get is the original inferred MRE for the SE sulphide zone changed from inferred to indicated. That was the purpose of the infill drilling program on the sulphide zone. I think they probably need a section of inferred resource to enable them to move on from the PFS to the FS stage as indicated basically defines the resource as viable to mine.

They did say that the infill drilling had proved up the continuity of the grades and we noticed that the sulphide zones had "fattened" up somewhat in the graphic on the last interim results since the MRE so I guess the hope is that if they do announce the "indicated" MRE that it will have grown in size also.

Relaxed as ever - looking forward to the Eastern & Northern intercepts tomorrow night.

They are not messing about at Goliath - I suppose when it's NCM's money we are spending we may as well crack on.

They are preparing the second drill pad just to the SW of the main camp site and about 900m SE from the original drill site. From my second tweet in the thread you can see the first drill is pretty much dead centre on the co-incidence of the magnetic / gravity anomalies - this one seems to be pretty muck in the centre of the gravity anomaly.

If they get a strike on either one then happy days - if they get a strike on both then Mickey may need to re-assess, maybe he might need to give Jerry a call lol :-)

Not only Gold - Copper is over $4.3/lb now, getting close to it's ATH of around $4.5 from back in 2010.

It's predicted to go a lot higher in the coming months & years which could easily double the value of the copper in the ground for us.
