Looks like the first hole may well be completed at Goliath, I have noticed that there is activity on the second prepared drill-pad up there and it also looks like some equipment has been moved from the original pad. A bit of guesswork on my part but the time passed would appear to be about right too.

It will be interesting to see how quickly the GGP/NCM JV can manage to get the cores assayed and released - should be a lot quicker than Scallywag - fingers crossed.

The transport options will be presented in the PFS which Sandeep kindly told us should be available around about September time. The capital cost to build something like this would need to be signed off by the NCM board and nothing will be decided until a proper mining plan has been submitted. Having said that it's unusual for a major to sign off the decline without having a PFS in place so it just goes to show the absolute confidence that they have in Havieron being the saviour of Telfer.

In the first image you can see that they appear to have dug a drainage channel to lay the pipe in from the WRL (Waste Rock Landform) to the new created evaporation ponds. I assume this will be to pump any excess water that drains from the rock that is removed from the portal opening. I'm expecting to see another drainage channel from the box-cut area itself at some point as the decline progresses.

The second image shows the progress up at Goliath. The field camp seems to be a pretty substantial semi-permanent type of a affair - much larger than what we saw at Scallywag last year although I suppose they are a lot further away from the Havieron camp and need to be more self-sufficient. I'm pretty confident from looking at the image that the drill-rig is working away on the first pad up to the North of the camp. The second pad is fully cleared and waiting to start.

The satellite image hadn't updated around the Outamind area so I can't say what has been going on there today.

All in all, progress on the ground is flying along as we would expect. Just gotta sit on those hands for a little while longer.

Hi TT - looking at the prices of copper & gold in 2019 and working out a simple ratio, I get that the copper now would be worth around 1.16g/t.

I know that would be a very, very crude calculation and there would need to be a lot more considerations taken into account but it's worth a lot more today that back then when it was about $2.90 / lb, gold was around the $1,590 / oz back then.

I know we are Greatland GOLD - but is anyone looking at the copper price? It is hovering around ATH's today and looks set to carry on to much higher levels over the coming months. I think someone said that we will be looking at around 20% of the income/profits at Havieron coming from copper so some very significant moves there as well.

Can I hearing some quacking going on :-)

Some more hints at how NCM like to get a good ROI for their money - seems to make the case for the JV mining operation to continue as planned with GGP holding onto their 25% IMO.

@napthman1 - 8/9th June for interims I think. It's exactly 12 weeks between the quarterlies this time so I think we will be spot on the halfway mark.

@Spratt1982 - that HAD082 intercept was reported way back last year when they first discovered the Eastern breccia but they obviously then concentrated on the infill drilling for the MRE and have only recently started back into the "growth" drilling phase.

I'm not sure that they will increase the rigs - we will have to wait and see what the next interims report - that will be 5 weeks today. They are planning to complete it by the end of June but I guess if it runs over by a week or two it wouldn't be the end of the world.

Definitely going to be interesting to see what intercepts the growth drilling starts to turn up - if like Bamps & I think, that the cemented breccias are more proliferate than the crackle breccias at depth then we could be in for a very nice surprise.

What is it they say again - Tier 1 deposits just keep on giving.

@petersalkeld - that's what the growth drilling will be doing at the moment.

Thanks TT - Briefing book confirms that there is 45,000m of growth drilling still planned to be completed by the end of June. That's a lot of drill cores in the next 8 weeks.
Methinks that things are going to step up a notch or two in the coming months.

Looking at the NCM presentations over the past couple of years - Sandeep has always presented in May at the BAML conference in May. I noticed that it's virtual this year again and starts on the 18th May.

These were already agreed in the RNS that was issued when he was announced as the new CEO back in December so no surprises really.

The options in the RNS that have been awarded to Shaun don't "vest" for 3 years from the date of their granting so it will be a minimum of 2024 before he can take any of these up. Good news for me - shows he intends to be around for a long time.

If he is going to buy then he would be buying on the open market at 20-21p and wouldn't be exercising these options even if he could.

If just like to point out that didn't happen when either of our last 2 brokers, Hannam & Berenberg were appointed. I'm not saying that it won't happen this time but it's not a foregone conclusion.

As Chippy says, Shaun very obviously has a plan in place and is putting all the pieces in the correct places to achieve his objectives. We need to trust that he is in the process of building the multi asset, multi billion pound company that he envisages.

Personally as a shareholder for over 4 years now - he and the rest of the board have my full support going forward. Havieron is an open goal for someone of Shaun's experience, this is all about the next phase IMO.

Look at what we have to come from the growth program - where is the existing inferred MRE going to end up when we get the PFS in September - just wow....

"Currently, all drill rigs are operational on the Growth Drilling programme with a focus on the North West Crescent, Northern Breccia Zone and depth extension of the South East Crescent and Breccia. This drilling is aimed to provide support for the potential expansion of the existing Inferred Mineral Resource estimate. "

Then we have them testing the edges of the Eastern breccia to "interpret" what they might have there - that ties in with the 2 step-out holes that we saw to the North of the sand-dune and I think that was what was meant in the presentation yesterday when they said they had found more mineralisation in close proximity to the ovoid.

"Drill testing and interpretation of the geological and mineralisation controls of the Eastern Breccia Zone is ongoing."

IMO it has always been a long term hold if you are an investor.

Good morning all, only quickly browsed the results last night as on earlies all this week.

Good summary from @thelearner, the 4 results from the "growth drilling" that we received last night were all great and points to what we can expect from the the next set of results in 6 weeks time. We know there is roughly 40km of drilling that has already been completed that will be reported and as GH has tweeted conditions out there are pretty much perfect now and with 8 rigs going at it then there will potentially be a lot more.

Also thinking about the fact that there were no more infill results last night - I'm guessing this means that the infill results we had 7 weeks ago will be the full extent as they said that drilling had been completed 7 weeks ago. If that is the case then they've already had 7 weeks to start to work on the indicated MRE so as @mercedesman says there is every possibility that NCM could drop the upgraded MRE at any point over the next 6 weeks.

Whilst it is disappointing to only receive 4 new results - I'm pragmatic enough to see what these 4 results mean for us in the overall big picture and very happy to hold as always.
