Artemis gone into a trading halt overnight in Oz.

"The trading halt is necessary as the Company has withdrawn the capital raise and expects to make an announcement in relation to this and the Carlow Castle resource review."

Lots of speculation on Hotcopper that there may be a JV coming on Patersons as a good portion of that raise was earmarked for the drilling campaign there, and maybe NCM have jumped the gun early doors before ARV get a chance to put a drill in the ground.

Just posted a little time-lapse video of the mine development progress at Havieron from end of December up to Saturday.
Gives a good overview of the progress and speed that NCM are moving at here.

Sandeep has said on numerous occasions that they are targeting "commercial" production within 2-3 years from the start of the decline - they haven't done anything yet to make us doubt that they will stick to this timeline again

Newcrest's underground contractor Byrnecut are confirmed as the decline contractor. I think we all knew this already but they have updated their projects page today.

Once the initial decline is complete, they will potentially have decades of work ahead of them at Havieron, good incentive to hit their targets on this initial drive to the orebody.

Looks like we will be kept waiting for the satellite update from today. The following message is posted on the Scihub webpage.

"As a consequence of a publication issue occurring at DHUS level since 12th May at 20:00 UTC, the availability of Copernicus Sentinel-2 products on the data hubs is currently delayed.
Further information will be provided once the problem is fixed and the nominal availability of these products is resumed."

Province Resources (formerly Scandivandium) hold the licenses next to our pending license in the Canning area. The Tabletop1 anomaly is in our area but the other 2 anomalies are in the Province ground. If we are getting these also it will give us access to that whole area - Mr multi-asset Shaun Day is certainly on the ball IMO.

Are those the licences the ones next door to the Canning license? Province Resources used to be Scandivandium and they seem to have changed their focus to green hydrogen projects recently and are doing very, very well.

Nice move by Artemis overnight - they announced their $10M capital raise which was done at a slight premium to to the SP and there were no options/warrants attached. They said that it was over-subscribed also.

Here's a little bit from the relevant text of the release :-

"Funding also to be applied to an extensive 2021 diamond drilling campaign at the Company’s Paterson Central gold and copper project, adjacent to the Newcrest (NCM:ASX) / Greatland Gold (GGP:AIM) world-class Havieron discovery and development in Western Australia. Key targets include the Apollo, Atlas, Juno, Voyager and Enterprise prospects, most within ~3km of Haverion"

Sounds like they are going for a big old campaign out there next door to Havieron - the eyes of the world will be focussed even more on our little patch of Aussie desert for the next 6 months.

Try to keep it together and not get too excited or upset folks - patience, patience & even more patience. The games will be coming to a climax in the not too distant future.

Also noticed that over the past few years that Newcrest have provided a briefing book, presentation and webcast for the Bank of America Merrill Lynch Annual Global Metals, Mining & Steel Conference. This is due to take place as a virtual conference this year from the 18th to the 20th May, so hopefully we may should get a nice new updated briefing book and another webcast from Sandeep next week.

Any time I have any doubts (which isn't very often) I have another watch of Sandeep's interview for the BMO Capital Markets conference earlier this year. The whole interview is worth a listen if you have a spare half an hour but the Havieron specific bits are brilliant.

Listen from 11:00mins in and then his wrap-up from about 22:55mins - just watch how animated he gets and the hand gestures when he gets into his flow about Havieron and the implications for Telfer and then remember Sandeep is privy to probably 8-12 weeks live drilling data that we don't get to see until it has been officially assayed.

Just to give you guys & girls an idea of what we have on our hands at Havieron and what the market is either missing or ignoring IMO.

Bottlerocket did a great job of extracting the image of the orebody from the latest GGP corporate presentation and sent me a copy of it. I imported into my Google Earth master file and rescaled it using the image of the decline that I had already imported in there.
I then overlaid the image from the March report which had the areas that were included in the initial MRE highlighted inside the "black lines". Now it is quite plain to see how much more has been drilled that was not in the MRE and there is still thousands of more metres to be drilled before the end of June that will also be included in the PFS.

Also you can see where the drills have hit into the Eastern breccia and outside the Sulphide zone to the SE and SW.

Anyone who can't see how this resource is going to grow and grow - either doesn't want to see the plainly obvious or doesn't care.

Patience is all that is required here IMO - let Newcrest get on with it and in the fullness of time we will reap the rewards.

The complete image will load up if you select the L1A filter again strudel, for some reason the L2A filter only loads up to around the Apollo region - the tile to the North that contains Goliath and all the RIO work isn't available yet.

I posted a link to a tweet yesterday that shows a comparison between Goliath yesterday and 10 days ago. Definitely looks to be activity on the second drill pad.

Nothing new on any of the RIO pads yet.

100% TT, we are all excited to see what the drills at Goliath and the rest of the Juri JV have in store for us, but lesson definitely learnt from Scallywag (although I don't think we've heard the last from there yet either).

Couldn't care less how long it takes or whether they batch them or not, although I have heard from a reliable source that they have taken a different path this year which should speed up the turnaround of results. We will get them when they are good and ready.
Agree also that Havieron is more than underpinning the SP at the moment and it's only going to grow and grow (Tier 1 deposits keep on giving) as the gold and copper prices continue to flourish in the bull market.

All in all - stars seem to be aligning, but as ever a healthy dose of patience is required.
