Well the first leg of the journey is done, I'm sitting here in the queue at Holyhead waiting to board the ferry and I've had a chance now to read through the many messages of support.

Can I just take the opportunity to thank each and every person who has taken the time to post such heartfelt and supportive messages - they definitely are appreciated. Not looking forward to the next few days but I'll get through it and be back to hound you all next week.

I've just had news today of a family bereavement which means I need to get on the next available ferry back home to attend my father's funeral this weekend. Needless to say I won't be posting for a while as other more pressing issues need my attention.

I shouldn't need to do this but feel I need to explain why I will be absent over the coming days - here's to next week and better sentiment and manners all around.

@zoros - I can't see anyway that NCM could get 12Mtpa out of Havieron until the bulk mining option. In Sandeep's last interview he definitely stated that initially they thought a Stoping operation of 1-2 Mtpa but currently they were looking at 5-6 Mtpa using SLC (sub-level caving).

Bamps is right in the fact that Hannam's stated in their very first note that 2Mtpa would just about be possible using a truck haul system but for anything higher then I would assume they would need to install a crusher in the bowels of the mine and then have some sort of conveyor/hoisting system to remove the crushed ore.

There will be a lot on information/data that will be getting crunched at the moment to inform the PFS - should make very interesting reading in September.

Nice spot by Bottlerocket this morning, the new Canning license has been marked "Granted" by the DMIRS.

Still says "Pending" until it clears the Native Heritage clearance to be approved.

@jackthebear - I personally don't have any take on it, I'm not involved in the financial world - it is a million miles away from my engineering background - and I can't say I would want to be involved with the shenanigans that seem to go on.

I am focussed purely on the company and the assets, that is the only thing that they can take care of - if they do that properly then the SP and the value will "eventually" take care of itself.

You are looking for the results from the "Grilla" prospect. Overall they weren't great results but they have found pathfinder elements in the holes so similar to Scallywag in that they could be in the "halo" of a larger system.

"Grilla = Anomalous silver (max. 2.77 g/t) and elevated tungsten (max. 951 ppm), with
low level gold (max. 70 ppb), zinc (max. 357 ppm) and lead (max. 625 ppm). "

Another nice clear satellite shot today,

I've picked the likely position of the current 8 rigs from the shot - I can make out the faint white blob beside the black sumps when I zoom in on the satellite image. I have numbered them up 1-8 and put them onto the Google Earth layout showing the position of the decline and then one of the latest drilling reports from NCM.

You can roughly work out where these rigs are now targeting and it's easy to see why GH is excited to start seeing the next couple of sets of results - IMO the "growth program" is well and truly under way - if the results are what we are expecting then the window of opportunity for shares to be picked up and these levels will hopefully be short lived.

@Redirons - thank you for the sentiment, I appreciate it. I'm glad that people feel I can be trusted but as I will always say everybody needs to read up and do their own research - if only for their own peace of mind.

@jackthebear - I hear what you are saying and taking that on board still doesn't change the endgame, in fact if what you are hinting at were to come to pass then I would expect to see the SP absolutely rocket in the short term.

Personally I would rather see the SP build nicely back to the 30's and be news driven over the next 6-12 months.

@Jvetch - I wouldn't say that I don't care because it would only be human to look at the balance today with a rueful smile and think what might have been but I do 100% believe in the company and the management, Shaun has been showered with praise by Gervaise and a few other substantial backers who I know have spoken to him personally.

Whether we see ATH's in April or later in the year - they are coming, updated indicated MRE shouldn't be a million miles away now that NCM have confirmed the infill drilling has been completed, PFS to follow in September - Havieron alone will be a company maker.

I don't know enough about the markets or how the shady dealings work but even I can see when things seem a bit off.

It has all the markings of a sophisticated and organised assault on GGP. Retail investors have always been a massive part of this company - far bigger than explorers in Canada or Australia where there are ready made investors prepared to finance the juniors.

That massive swathe of retail investors has become fair game now that it's becoming more and more apparent that what GGP has here is truly world class. Lots of people will have sold up with nice profits and I'm sure some people will be nursing big losses (whether real or paper) but the only way this ends is either we are mining as either a minority or sleeping partner or Newcrest buy out our 30% (when we finally figure out what it is).

These are the only 2 options that I can see - am I raving mad or can someone please show me any other possibility.

I will be here when the hens come home to roost one way or the other.

We are now so far under the fundamental value attached to Havieron alone IMO, it's a joke.

Then we have all the other possibilities with Newcrest in the Juri JV & Scallywag which are slated to start any time in the coming weeks.

The Rudall project will probably be surveyed in the coming months and we should get a good idea of the possibilities that await us there - I can't find any historical data for that area.

The objection period for the new Canning project is due to finish today so that will processed and just have to wait for heritage clearance - the co-incident gravity / magnetic remind me a lot of the historic image from Havieron.

The $50 has been estimated to be sufficient to fund up until the delivery of the feasibility study, after the feasibility study Newcrest have the option to take up the 5% at FMV.

I think that once the feasibility study is delivered there won't be any issue raising the required finance.

Remember why we are all invested here people - Newcrest and GGP are busy turning a barren piece of Aussie desert into the next Tier 1 Gold / Copper mine.
