I just noticed if you zoom out on the EO Browser page then the 23rd gets highlighted and when you select it there are images from the other 2 strips that the satellite covers but nothing from our section - curious!!!!!

I hope HAD019 is either one of the most easterly or westerly holes and goes to new depths as it angles back in towards the centre.

As Mercman says it could be a colossal one and wouldn't it be nice to report just before the NCM AGM........

Ok Guys & Gals,

I've overlaid the new drill plots from last nights update onto the same image as I used before. You can see the 3 new holes line up with the circles that I had placed on the satellite image and I've highlighted these in red (this image is from the 8th October so there will be quite a few new holes since then).

So we can surmise that the satellite image is reasonably accurate in relation to the positioning of the holes - should be interesting to see the results from the big step-out holes north, east & west.

Nice one mate - not telling us anything we didn't know but getting the info out to their clients - let's hope Numis follow up with an updated note soon and hopefully we may get an insight into it like the last time.

Expecting Alastair Cook to do an interview perhaps as well and I'd imagine the Aussie press will be all over this like a rash today.

I think it's probably the traders more so than the investors that are unhappy this morning - they would have loved the usual spike so they could then unload them for their profit.

As others are saying this is pretty much now derisked and provided you can sit on your hands and money it's a no brainer.

Might not be as long as we think to the next NCM update and we have plenty of our own prospects that are awaiting news also.

Just listened to GH and he never even mentioned the market reaction - I don't think he's too bothered about it either now

Says they've got enough results now to start getting a grip on the deposit and NCM have upgraded the camp so basically they are settling in for the long hot summer.

Usually GH had a lot more detail about the future plans etc than the bare bones of the NCM reports.

Telfer is now hurting Newcrest big time.

Look in their quarterly report on page 5 - the AISC for Telfer for the September Quarter was $1,699 and they are making a loss of $263 on every oz they produce - they need that high grade ore ASAP.
