If they follow the same pattern as before then it's a market release by NC on Thursday morning (Oz time so around midnight on Wednesday here) followed by a GGP RNS @ 7.00am on Thursday morning.
I'd imagine that's the way it'll work again.

@aandi - numbers-wise that's what I was thinking as well - not sure about HAD005 - looks a little too far north for me but if it's not HAD005 then it's a new hole. It looks to me to be around about where the tail of HAD013 is.

NIce work aandi - it really highlights how far those step-out holes are from the existing drilling.

It's all down to the results now but as I have said previously I personally feel that reading through the Annual Report and seeing how prominent Havieron is in there gives me a nice warm feeling that Newcrest are very happy with what is coming.

Yes mate - all the holes are logged and saved so should be relatively easy to update when the new holes are reported.
This time 2 weeks we should know where we are.

Have you seen the SOLG share price recently - I feel sorry for the loyal SH's and the company over there. Through no fault of their own they have seen the value drop by over 50% this year alone based purely on the political situation, at least we shouldn't have any worries on that score in the Paterson.

HAD005 was a great hole but it was an angled hole if you look at the section drawing in the Newcrest Update. If they were to extend it waould take it potentially away from the known area of mineralisation.

HAD001 was a near vertical hole so it would seem to me to be a sensible candidate - IMHO

@MS - I agree about HAD001 being extended like they did with HAD006, I've been saying this for weeks now and it would prove the mineralisation at depth - maybe go even deeper than HAD006 as we are still open at depth and there was an intersection for 52m from 1122m @ 7.0g/t in HAD006. Be nice to see that repeated in another deep hole.

This is not an interpretation that I have made up - this is the visualisation that the software decodes from the drill co-ordinates, azimuth, dip and intercept data that is available in those releases - as chartbuster says these are facts but are presented visually instead of in a table format.

My intention is not to ramp / pump - I am invested and intend to remain invested for the foreseeable future. I hope people can appreciate that as I will continue to present the facts as I find them.

Been busy all morning but managed to have a look at that CoreBox website that you linked to this morning - great find by the way. It's possible to set up a free account and load all the drill data into their system.

The only thing we can say is that up until now the drill results "seem" to be confirming what the modelling and data was showing - ie they are still hitting mineralisation at the depths that were highlighted and they are still showing the system open at depth.
We're obviously privy to all the detailed data or models that GGP & NCM are - it will be interesting to see if any of this is made public as they go forward - perhaps they are managing everyone'e expectations until the drill results confirm.

Here's the blurb from the GGP project page about the 2 bodies

New 3D gravity and magnetic models indicate potential for mineralisation at Havieron to extend from approximately 400m below surface to depths in excess of 1,200 metres below surface

Modelling of gravity data outlines a large irregular shaped body, some 300m across, from approximately 400m below surface (top of basement) to 1,200m below surface with an overall subvertical attitude

Modelling of magnetic data defines a single, discrete, high amplitude elliptical shaped body that is steeply dipping (subvertical) toward the south east with a depth extent from around 800m below surface to approximately 1,400m below surface, but the body may continue beyond 1,400m as this is the current limit of data resolution

A comparison of 3D gravity and magnetic models shows an approximate 500m vertical and 200m lateral offset between the causative bodies

So from this we can assume that the minimum depth is indeed 800m and could be even more

Aandi - the Numis report said the depth was from 400m to a minimum of 1200m so the depth would be 800m.

“The drill data and geophysical results suggest the presence of a large sub vertical irregular ellipsoidal body that stretches from a depth of 400 metres to at least 1,200 metres that is 300 metres across,” writes Guy.

I think that might make a difference to you calcs.

HAD005 was an angled drill whereas HAD006 and HAD001 were pretty much vertical holes right in the centre of the mineralisation - that's the only reason that I initially thought HAD001 might be a good candidate to extend.
