Interesting information on Bromus. We knew they had applied for a neighbouring tenement from the WA government website but I think that's the first time we've heard about it from GGP and I can't remember them mentioning anything about carrying out a aero magnetic survey there either.

Look forward to hearing more about that soon also along with the other pending surveys and the outstanding assays from Black Hills and Firetower.

Have a look at this pre-feasibility study by Oz Minerals for their Carrapateena mine to get some ideas. The costs in here are in Aussie dollars also.

It's for a cave mine as opposed to a block cave but looks to be a similar depth looking at the cross-sections. You can see on page 22 the capital cost summary and obviously a lot of that will not be applicable to Havieron - plant, airstrip & camp.
The cost for project management & contingency should be greatly reduced also.

The other thing is why would Newcrest be happy to let RIO get this JV so close to Telfer at such a cheap price - they must have been informed of this opportunity and had a chance to bid, but it seems they didn't - I wonder why?

I was just thinking the same thing - $1M in 2yrs. We're already more than 5 times that spend in only 6-7 months - says it all really.

They probably know Tom but I doubt we will get them for Tuesday - If they stick to the previous schedule then probably 6 weeks (halfway between quarterly updates) but I have a sneaky suspicion we may see them before the Newcrest AGM in November which is more like 4 weeks away. By then they would have a big haul of results to drop in one swoop.

It'll still be interesting to see what they have to say at the conference on Tuesday and you never know - it looks to be a big international conference so they might want to upstage the other Majors - who knows.

By the way - unlucky to the Welsh this morning - they gave they're all but just came up short - I'll be right behind England next week to bring the cup back up to the northern hemisphere for the next 4 years.

Just got a chance to look at the latest images there now - definitely another one has appeared just to the northwest of the line of 3 out on the East side.
Also noticed there are two more patches of vegetation cleared out to the East where they are probably drilling now as that was 3 days ago.

@Chartbuster - it was by good luck that I stumbled on the Sentinel satellite images but agreed that they are brilliant to keep us informed going forward. Also did you see the video of the latest 3D model after adding last weeks results.

Up until now including the GGP efforts we have had 18 drill assays reported - we now have 15 that's "one five" more holes either complete or in progress with new holes being collared every week.

If people want to trade this then that is totally their prerogative but I for one will not be selling a single share until we have a resource estimate.

I'm off to bed now - a bottle of red on successive school nights and up at 5.30am for work

All the hints are there - more drill rigs, big step-outs and more infills, upgraded camp, minimum spend completed & soon Stage1 to be complete, Telfer on the wane needing high grade ore, Nav of project highly lucrative as less capital outlay - all the rest is just noise.

I've got my SIPP with AJ Bell and I just checked there now - I've got over 5.5M GGP @ 1.378p average so you can work out the stake and the profit from that.

I've built it up over the last 2 and a bit years and bought quite a lot at the 0.5/0.6 level. I'm happy now that it's derisked and we should have a good floor where we are now so not too worried as I'm good profit.
