Numis reiterated there previous target of 4p last week so I can't imagine it contains anything negative - hopefully it might take the new assays into account and do another tentative estimate.

Antipa have a quarterly update announcement out today also and guess what - GGP and Havieron are mentioned frequently in there also.

It seems all the Aussies know where we are at - it'll all come good eventually guys.

Good post from randompath on ADVFN which shows how quickly and the costs involved in setting up a block cave mine if that was the method that NCM were to utilise at Havieron subject to positive FS.

"A new block cave could be operational in as little as 3 years, given that Telfer infrastructure is already in place. In Jan 2019 Northparkes announced approvals to start building a new block cave mine with 11km of underground development, crusher and conveyor system in New South Wales near their existing operations. Estimated completion is mid-2022."

Remember this from the Final Results RNS also -

Bromus project (Western Australia), 100% owned

The Bromus project is located 25 kilometres south west of Norseman in the southern Yilgarn region of Western Australia. The Bromus project covers 52 square kilometres of under-explored greenstone and intrusive granites of the Archean Yilgarn Block at the southern end of the Kalgoorlie-Norseman belt. During the period, Greatland undertook an aeromagnetic survey of the tenement allowing high quality digital elevation and geophysics data to be obtained. During the period, Greatland made an application for an additional exploration licence (E63/1953) covering 32 square kilometres which is considered prospective for gold, contiguous to the north and west of Bromus, which has subsequently been granted.

So I'm guessing that we will be getting results from the aeromagnetic survey of Bromus fairly shortly also.

And remember we're still waiting for similar results from the Paterson Range East surveys where they have found "numerous high-priority targets with a similar magnetic signature to Havieron"

Back home now so can have a look in a bit more detail.

Kraken: A high intensity ‘bulls-eye’ magnetic anomaly with the same
amplitude, character and depth extent as observed at Havieron. IP results
indicate a strong chargeability anomaly coincident with the Kraken magnetic
anomaly.

I think people have missed an important section in that statement - the same depth extent - except at Scallywag the depth to basement is between 50-100 metres - see the regional aeromagnetic target map.

Scallywag is located right between the 50m & 100m contour lines. If we have the same depth extent but the basement rocks start from 100m then what does that give us - see the definition of Kraken

The kraken (/'kr??k?n/) is a legendary cephalopod-like sea monster of giant size in Scandinavian folklore.

Looks very tasty indeed and remember these targets are closer to Telfer, shallower than Havieron and 100% owned by GGP.

I love the fact they've called one London lol - taking a dig at the AIM market perhaps - image of that's where they find the motherlode.

I'm surprised you hadn't seen it before - I've posted it a few times. I know 10-15 g/t lol - imagine hitting a big section of that.....

Just shows though that NCM historically had a good idea of what was down there but went chasing lower hanging fruits and now with those not being available, better mining methods & technologies, Telfer coming to a halt and of course a much more accommodating gold price I think we have the perfect storm.
Just glad that GH & co were the ones to pick up on the potential first after looking through the historical reports.

I think that is the endgame that GH is looking at - Havieron will hopefully bankroll us and even then they will be substantial figures for GGP as you say - but on our 100% tenements - if one of them proves up then rocket time.

Finding it is one thing but proving it up is another matter entirely especially at the depths that Newcrest are drilling.

Look at the JV that RIO announced in the Paterson yesterday - they get 80% for spending $6M over 6 years.

Newcrest know what's down there - I've posted a link to an old Newcrest report from 1996 I think - search back through my posts and look at the conclusions on that report for anyone who is interested.

If the grades hold up and are as good as we hope then 250,000 Oz per year would be a pretty conservative estimate and remember the gold price is now $1,500 and according to every expert it's primed to go a lot higher in the coming months/years - that's why us investors are excited about the future of GGP, not just the short term.

I really hope we keep our percentage and carry on to the toll treatment at the accelerated pace that Newcrest seem intent on. That then secures our future without ever needing funding again to carry on and prove the other prospects in the Paterson and further afield.

We can only hope and dream - please God GH and the bod will make it become a reality.

We did some calcs a while back based on $1400 gold and an AISC of $800.
If they process 250,000 Oz per year gives a profit of $150,000,000. Even @ 25% this would give us $37.5M as our share of profits every year.

I'd say that would have a pretty BIG effect on our SP wouldn't you.

It's a bargain for Newcrest if it's proven to be a tier 1 - no doubt but explain to me please where were we going to get the $65M to progress it with 6 drill rigs, associated camp etc, etc.

We still get either 25/30% either of the value or of the toll treatment going forward - of call that a good deal fur both parties.

See the other line from the RNS that has been highlighted a few times on Twitter this morning -

“The current intention of both parties is that, subject to a positive Feasibility Study outcome, the ore from Havieron will be toll processed at Newcrest's Telfer Gold Mine"

So even if the SP stays where it is right now - I'll be holding onto all my shares for the day this happens

I would guess that's why the terms of our farm-in were so good in comparison to any others because there were several (or at least 2) parties interested.
I must admit purely on gut instinct that I'm very glad they decided to go with Newcrest.

Look at how they've accelerated the program and they have all the knowledge and expertise from similar geology at Telfer not too mention all the back-up infrastructure in the region also - no brainer.

I can understand the trading and the profit taking bit there will be a catalyst one day which will trigger the II's and I'm not gonna be out when that happens.
