Here's a stab in the dark - Telfer has a second feature , the west dome to go with the main dome.

Is there a possibility that could be repeated here???

Good spot Oldtimer - I didn't even check that far out - definitely looks like another drill pad to me.

No idea about that feature you pointed out apart from it's only just appeared and isn't visible in previous images.

That is 450m from the furthest South one is the SW cluster - Wow.

All I know Trucker is I'm sh*t in bunkers so I'd be screwed trying to play around that course :-) The greens (browns) don't look very appealing either.

I'd like to see Rory teeing it up on that course.

Also - I don't know if you appreciate the size of Telfer - It is literally a town in the middle of no-where. They even have a "golf course" which you can make out to the NE of the town.

Marmaris, I think you will find that only chartered flights come in and out of Telfer from Perth.

I would imagine with it being chartered (by Newcrest, MacMahon, etc) there will be strict checks on any personnel flying out to Telfer from Perth.

@Lenz - that would be fine if you were working offshore in the North Sea but I'm not sure I'd like to do a 12 hour stint in the 40 degree heat of the Australian desert. I guess they might have been doing shifts for so many days and then back to Telfer for R & R.
I suppose in theory the Havieron camp could now even self isolate further and be independent of Telfer if they had enough volunteers to work on a rotation basis from the Havieron camp. They would only need transport to bring in supplies and take out drill-cores, not sure I'd like to spend months out there but I guess it's possible.

@markjp - I guess there will be hold-ups in the labs but that might be mitigated by the fact that not so many exploration projects will keep running taking a little of the pressure off.

Tom - I don't know for certain but I would have thought a minimum of 3/4 men per rig x 8 rigs working on a 3 x 8 hr shift round the clock and then the support staff. 90 people in the camp seems about right to me.

I also would be ecstatic with 6p by the end of April - results day is the 30th remember, how long for the revised Numis target price after the quarterly update? I think last time it came out on the Monday after the Thursday update.

Looks like Newcrest are suffering because of the expected decline in production at Cadia in the short-term and because they have a higher exposure to copper if I read the article correctly. It's seems more and more likely that NCM are going to be targeting the high-grade zones of Havieron in a selective underground operation asap IMO.
