That is exactly the response I would have expected from a responsible company who take health & safety very seriously.

Newcrest have complete control over personel who fly in & out of Telfer - it's not somewhere you can just rock up to - and they will be doing everything in their power to keep operations going.

Hi wasred - your the opposite to me then - My son is my eldest and then I have three daughters.
He's deserted me now and gone to Uni leaving me at home with the ladies (even our dog "Biddy" is a *****) lol. It's not too bad TBF - I get well looked after.
Kenmare is a beautiful spot - I'm a Tipperary man but we used to holiday in Kerry (Ballybunion) when I was a lad and we would travel about quite a bit - Dingle, Tralee, Killarney - it's a nice part of the world.

Hi reddirt - good to hear your thoughts. Any idea why they have stepped-out so far to the NW this time?
Have they purposely gone that far in the hope that they will "miss" this time and they can then work back in or is it still possible the trend will continue that far up....very exciting times.

Interesting read on Proactive this morning. They are reporting that NQ Minerals are preparing a due diligence report into the possibility of re-opening the Beaconsfield Goldmine in Tasmania.

Hi wasred - thanks for the appreciation. I've been here about the same time (slightly less). It's great to be able to share my insights but you guys need to take it on board and then do your own research and come to your own conclusions. I'm very happy that my research ban help people to do that.

I would be more that happy to take a bottle of whisky (although I would prefer "whiskEy") of your hands whenever it gets bottled up - as for the name then I suggest you let your daughter choose the name herself. As the father of 3 daughters myself I know the perils of trying to influence them only for it to backfire on me spectacularly.

I'm quite surprised TBF - I thought they would just concentrate on the infill until the end of June and then take it from there but I think NCM want to be able to brag to the world about what they have at Havieron.

I wonder if we will get official confirmation of stage 3 starting at some point this week.

I would think they are probably stopping as much of the FIFO operations as they possibly can. If I was a worker in Telfer I'd be quite happy to "self-isolate" in the comparative comfort and remoteness of the Patterson.

It's not only Newcrest mate - I've had a couple of requests to look at images for drilling projects in other countries also.
In my opinion it just gives us PI's the opportunity to be as well informed of progress as probably the II's and high net worth investors.

It also keeps the companies honest and upfront with progress as we can see exactly what's going on almost in real time. We can't see the results but the fact step outs are still occurring is telling IMO.

It is heading in that direction but it's still a long way to Scallywag. Personally I think they are "feeling" to see where the other side of the dome might be too complete the circle.

If the high-grade zone continues and "repeats" as Primorus alluded to then that's probably their aim now - IMO

Looks like a BIG step-out hole in the NW region and another new one in the centre which I imagine will be used for infill drilling around the breccia / high-grade zones.

They have been busy bees over the last 5 days - keep it up NCM, less than 6 weeks to the next update.
