schlemiel - I remember GH doing an interview where he mentioned that Newcrest wanted a clear path to 75% and that was why the 5% was added in. That was the minimum amount that they wanted to be able to achieve to close the deal.

Personally I think it was very astute on GH's part to get this 5% at 'fair market value' - this 5% will probably cost Newcrest in excess of the costs of the previous 70%

Not really Christophe - the high net worth investors who have their warrants left won't be in any hurry to exercise them - they don't expire until August 2021 I think so they will be quite happy to sit on them until the SP is a lot higher than it is now IMO.

I am obviously very much pro-GGP but I do my best to present the facts - it may come across as rampy but I can assure you it's not meant to.

As for the funding of our exploration of Scallywag - Newcrest have spent US$20M on Havieron up to now including running up to 8 rigs, development of a permanent field camp, drilling well in excess of 50 holes so far and at depths up to 1,400m.

At Scallywag we will probably be running 1 drill rig (maybe 2), probably drilling to 600/700m depth, they drillers will have a caravan as their field camp and at a guess I'd say a maximum of 6-10 holes.

So lets say worst case scenario 10 holes at 700m - gives us 7,000m. The per metre cost for diamond drilling is between AUD$250 - $300 so again worst case scenario - 7,000 x $300 = $2,100,000 which is roughly £1M.

I think we have more than enough in the bank to cover the costs.

Why are we speaking about David Lenigas - as far as I'm aware he has absolutely nothing to do with GGP.

He may be a shareholder (good on him if he sees the value here) but he's not involved in the running of this company in any way.

Why not greedo - it's been there in black & white for all to see since the farm-in was signed over a year ago. It shouldn't really come as a surprise to any investors here.

Agreed 100% - I'm sure GH has know about the delay at Scally for a while - as he said the health & safety of all the people involved is paramount. Newcrest have had the procedures in place for weeks but GGP would need to be bringing in contractors to complete the survey and then start the preparation for the drilling - if there were any cases caused by any of this work then it could be disastrous for the company.

GH has said it's only a temporary delay and lets hope the Aussie get on top of Covid19 quickly and get back to normality asap.

I couldn't care less where the SP goes tomorrow or any day for the next 4 weeks - 4 weeks tomorrow night we will be looking at the next set of assay results. There will be a lot of greatlanders staying up late that night.

TBF - Oldtimer it was more likely to have been your spot on the big step-out. I was more focused on the known drilling in the SW corner (which by the way looks to me like they are absolutely peppering the **** out of that HGZ) that I completely missed the tracks & hole that you spotted.
